Kristina's Color Challenge - Woohoo!
First Off - I have to say that I LOVE Kristina Werner's Blog. She's amazing - with weekly card tutorials and color challenges. I really like her style!
So I thought I would try out one of her color challenges. I decided that I would use whatever stamp set I had laying out already. So that would be Just Celebrate from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I love that owl!
Here is her color inspiration...
Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa
Here is my card. I have to say...when you don't have to think about what colors you're going to use, it came together fairly quickly. I used an aquapainter to color in the owl and the acorns. The strips of Close to Cocoa and So Saffron are from the "Prints" DSP.
