Are you ready for another Tour de Freaks Blog tour? I hope so, because you're in for a treat today. Hang on to your hat and enjoy the ride!
Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freak Stampers. You may have come here by way of Robin Spinner. If so, welcome! At the end of my post you will be directed to the next stop so make sure to keep on reading and don’t forget to click through on to the fabulous blog of Lisa Martz.
This month we are featuring projects made with items from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. I'm sharing ideas for Easter.
First up is a handmade Easter Card...
Actually change up the greeting from the Well Scripted stamp set and you've got a card for Mother's Day or Birthdays too!
Isn't this gorgeous? With the new Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flowers, you really don't need much more. They do the job beautifully. So clean and simple. Though - I couldn't decide if it needed another layer. Maybe just a little something at the bottom. What do you think? With or without?
Supplies: Well Scripted Stamp set, Whisper White & Certainly Celery cardstock, Rose Red Ink, Big Shot, Top Note Die, Perfect Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder, Sweet Pea Stitched Felt, Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Slot Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Pop-up Glue Dots
My last project is this adorable Mini Easter Gift Box.
OMG - even more cute is what's inside! It's Stampin' Up!'s Mini Milk Cartons!
And YES - I do have the measurements & instructions for the Double Mini Milk Carton Gift Box, and will be sharing them Monday. So stop back then!
Supplies: Eggcroutrements Stamp Set, Pale Plum, Certainly Celerty, Whisper White Cardstock, Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper, Big Shot, Mini Milk Carton Die, 1-1/4" Striped Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Linen Thread, Tag Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Sticky Strip, Clip Assortment
Well, that's it for me. I hope you enjoyed this stop on the Tour De Freaks Tour. Be sure to visit the next stop with Lisa Martz. She has some cute Simply Adorned ideas for you. We look forward to seeing you again on March 20th for our next Tour de Freaks Blog Tour!
Enjoy~Dawn O

Am loving the white on white Dawn!! You are so clever :)

Obviously I'm not the only one in awe with your fabulous creations. Both cards are lovely but think the Certainly Celery under the Top Note gives just a little boost and ties in beautifully with the felt flowers. Can't wait for Monday's instructions as the box tied with the wide striped ribbon is gorgeous.

I like the Easter card with the green layer. It really accentuates the white top note. Very pretty card, thanks for sharing :o)

Fantastic projects, Dawn! I can't wait to see the instructions for the box set on Monday. And I actually like both cards evenly. I love the simplicity of the white texture on white, but I also love how the green strip makes the green from the felt piece pop! Nice work...I always look forward to the bog tour.

Hmmm, maybe I need those stitched felt flowers after all!! Lovely!

Dawn, I like the second version of your card with the extra layer on the bottom. It makes the Top Note die layer pop more. The Sweet Pea stitched felt pieces make such beautiful cards so easy to make.

The pictures do NOT even do your milk cartons justice. Has to be the CUTEST, ADORABLE, FABULOUS project you have come up with yet. Just the "box" alone is awesome. EVERYONE will have to have the die and instructions!!! Hmmmm, me too???? LOL Your post is by far the best Control Freak :D WITHOUT the green. Plain is SOOOOOOOOO elegant!!
