Welcome to the April 2010 Tour de Freak Blog Hop Tour which officially starts Tuesday, April 20th! We are so excited that you have joined us today on our 10th Blog Tour. This month we are featuring Floral Projects! For my projects, specifially Pansy Punch Art
Our tour will be nice and short, and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have come here by way of Janine Tinkenberg. If so, welcome! At the end of my post you will be directed to the next stop so make sure to keep on reading and don’t forget to click through on to the fabulous blog of Lisa Martz.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the tour!
IT'S ALL ABOUT PANSIES!!
I've been having so much fun making these Punch Art Pansies. Whether Workshop, Classes, Video, Expo Demonstrations, or Cards...Every time I show how-to-make these, people totally fall in love with them!
Take two Stampin' Up! Butterfly Punch outs, add water and reinkers and voila...beautiful and kinda realistic Pansies! Yes - there will be a video. It's all ready to go and will be posted on Wednesday!!!
First up - the card project:
Wouldn't any newly married couple love to receive this card?
Second up - here's a Scallop Envelope Box with 3x3 Notecards:
The Scallop envelope box is SUPER SIMPLE!
Cut 2 Scallop Envelopes with the Big Shot. Trim off one of the scallop flaps. On both envelopes, trim the "bottom" flaps down to 1/2". Put together to form a box.
How cute are these 3x3 notecards!
Supplies: Tiny Tags stamp set, Whisper White, Eggplant Envy & Shimmer White Cardstock, Eggplant Envy Classic Ink, Marker and Reinker, Summer Sun Reinker, Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Scallop Envelope Die, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Jewelry Tag Punch, Butterfly Punch, Aquapainter, Water Mister Bottle, Bamboo Stick, Gold Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip
Lastly - I'm always looking for a clever way to hand out my business card which encourages people to keep it and not throw it away. Lookie here. How could anyone throw this card away?
Well, that's it for me. I hope you enjoyed this stop on the Controlfreaks Tour De Freaks . Be sure to visit the next stop with Lisa Martz, she has an awesome framed art project she's sharing. We look forward to seeing you again on May 20th for our next tour!

I love how you used the reinkers on my pansy idea. Really gives them a more vivid color scheme! Thanks for improving on it!

Spring is here and you are reminding us in such an original way! I love all the projects, but need to give the business card tip a try. So clever :-)

For the business card: The Pansy was attached to the card itself. Then packaged in Stampin' Up!'s small cello bag.

On the business cards, is the pansy on the envelope or did you attach it on the card? What a neat idea.
