Welcome to the Control Freaks December 2011 Tour (officially starts December 20th). We are thrilled to have you join us today. Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, if you started in the middle of the tour you may have just come from fellow freaker, Patty Bennett's blog.
Our theme for this month is: Sneak Peak of Stampin' Up! 2012 Occasions Mini and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs!
Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit
I selected the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit for my sneak peak projects. I was intrigued by this kit as it contains two sheets (12x12) of die cut printed flowers (double sided) and a pack of pink rhinestones - 30ea in two sizes. Let me tell you - those pink rhinestones are SO cute!
For my two cards - I didn't skimp - I went all out! Take a look...
For the flower scallop edge, I used the new stamp set that I earned for free...Bordering on Romance AND the matching NEW Edgelit - Adorning Accents!
If you look close - you can see I splurged on the pink rhinetsones and added them in between each of the little flowers.
Stamps: Bordering on Romance
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Texture Impressions Embossing Folder, Adorning Accents Edgelit, Blossom Builder Designer Printed Kit, 1/2" Circle Punch, Lucky Limade Ruffled Ribbon
My second card was inspired by the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog card sample. I changed up a few things to make it my own. I really like this layout and I think I'll be using it again.
The greeting is a sneak peak from the 2012 Sale-a-Bration FREE stamp set Sprinkled Expressions! And guess what? I added pink rhinestones to that too. Woohoo - I'm lovin' those tiny little rhinestones!
Stamps: Sprinkled Expressions
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Confetti White
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Texture Impressions Embossing Folder , Blossom Builder Designer Printed Kit, Curly Label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals
My last project is a gable box decorated with the Blossom Builder Designer Printed Kit.
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Texture Impressions Embossing Folder , Blossom Builder Designer Printed Kit, Blushing Bride Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Simply Scored, XL Oval Punch, Corner Rounder, Sticky Strip
Well, that wraps up this stop of the tour. I hope you enjoyed my Stampin' Up! 2012 Occasions Mini and Sale-a-Bration Catalog Sneak Peaks. Now on to more Sneak Peaks from my fellow Control Freak, Jan Tinklenberg. I'm sure you're gonna love her projects!
