Hi Dawn, I saw this video on pinterest and wanted to use this technique with the oval designer frame. I made a lovely card and shared your video link on my blog, please come by and see it at
Thanks again for the tut.

Great video, Dawn! I have done this another way (see my DBWS camp projects for November, coincidentally), but your way is much more simple and just as effective. TFS once again.

This is super!! I posted a link with picture on my blog, I hope that is ok by you (if not, please let me know!). I do not have an embossingframe yet, but will get one as soon as possible!! Bye, Anne-Marie

Janet -
you may be using the wrong sandwich. There isn't a cutting pad on the bottom for that step.

Janet Casto

I have two questions, did you use SU chipboard to make your shims? I used the SU chipboard and the shims did not seem to be thick enough because the other embossing showed through. Any idea on what could be wrong? Also I could not run the embossing folder through with the Multipurpose platform on tab 2, again any idea on what I am doing wrong? Thank you so much for all you do I love your site!

Connie Milazzo

Thank you for your lesson. I'll be making shims today! You do beautiful work.

Thank you for the awesome tutorial. You are such an inspiration!

Neat cards! Adding the bling to the pheasant looks terrific and enhances the card so much. THANKS for the video. Nice job, as always. :)

Bev J.

Thanks for the neat video-love both cards especially the pheasant with the tail out of the frame-neat!
