It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a Home Sweet Home challenge.
After playing with the Cute Conversations Paper Pumpkin kit with my grand kids this weekend (see here), we used up most of the kit's supplies with the exception of the large hearts. So when looking at this week's photo inspiration, I decided to focus on both the heart and flowers, and here is what I came up with.
The large heart, twine, sequins, greeting and ink are all from the January 2016 Cute Conversations Paper Pumpkin kit. (refill #141212)
For the flowers I pulled out the new Blossom Bunch Punch from the 2016 Occasions Catalog, and punched out three flowers in Blushing Bride, Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron. There were assembled with Glue Dots and popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals. The flower centers are finished out with White Perfect Accents.
Everything was assembled on a 4" x 5-1/4" panel of Blushing Bride cardstock (which was run through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts Texture Impressions Embossing Folder). Before adhering to the card base - I used the Handheld Stapler to attach the sequin trim and twine, then tied the twine in a bow.
I have plenty of hearts left to make several of these darling cards. That's one of the things I like about the Paper Pumpkin kits, there is usually plenty of leftovers to play with.
