Reflection Technique Video with Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree

Today I'm showing how to achieve stunning results with just a stamp, ink and a Window Sheet.  It's called the Reflection Technique and I was amazed at just how easy it is to do!

When was the last time you used your Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree stamp set? It had been awhile for me.  But each time I use it, I remember why I got it in the first place, as it is lovely! And it's perfect for the Reflection Technique.

 

Dawn's Stamping Tips - Reflection Technique

1.  Ink image and stamp onto cardstock
2.  Ink image again and stamp on clear Window Sheet
3.  Flip stamped Window Sheet over so image is facing down
4.  Carefully line up image w/first stamped image to create a "reflection"
5.  Place onto cardstock and rub over it to transfer the image
6.  Color grass and water using sponge daubers

10-Min Tue Video: Amazing Fold Card (aka Squash Fold) w/Stampin' Up! Love & Care

Sale-A-Bration Choice: Flower For All Season w/Kermit the Frog

DOstamperSTARS Challenge Thursday is here again!  This week it's a "Stamp That Tune" challenge with Kermit The Frog!  Whether you take inspriration from the album cover, the color green or Kermit The Frog himself...this challenge is a fun one all the way around!

I decided to go with the frog as my inspiration.  So, I pulled out a stamp set I haven't used in awhile:  Flower for All Seasons.  Did you know...you can get this set free with a $50 or more order?  Yep - thanks right.  It's one of the optional choices Stampin' Up! gives you during Sale-a-Bration (found on the last page).

 

Here's a closer look:

 

Look close at the pattern paper?  Those strips of paper come from the Hostess Level One In Color Designer Series Paper Pack.  However, I used my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write marker to color in the center of each of the flowers on the pattern paper...making it my own custom DSP!

This was a fun card to make.  So bright and cheery.  Hope it makes you smile!

Guest Artist on Pals Paper Arts: Birthday Bakery Card

Oh my - I was floored when a while back my friend Mary Fish asked me to be the Guest Artist on the Pals Paper Arts Celebrity Color Challenge (PPA63).   Of course I said, YES!

I had yet to ink up this adorable Hostess Level One stamp set, Birthday Bakery.  It was the first stamp set I thought of when Mary shared the color combo with me.  I used a blender pen and ink pads to color the cakes.

Below is a close up of the Perfect Details Texturz which I used to mimick the "diamond" shapes on one of the cakes.  You get a better look at the glitter too!
