Stamping with the STARS #443: LAST CHANCE Layering Leaves & Bough Punch

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts443.  Today it's our pleasure share another Sketch Inspiration with you.

This sketch is what I call a quick easy layout!  A great sketch to fall back on when you get a creative block.

 

I actually made this card last summer at a retreat.  We were given a variety of bits & pieces to create a card.  This is what I came up with.  Now the Layering Leaves stamp set, Bough Punch and Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder are on the LAST CHANCE List.  If you don't have them yet, you'll want to get them before they sell out.

How'd She DO That? Layering Leaves card

• Stamps: Layering Leaves - LAST CHANCE
• Paper:
  • Crumb Cake (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base, 4" x 5-1/4" add texture with embossing Folder, scrap for bough punch) 
  • Lost Lagoon (1-3/4" x 4")
  • Pretty Peacock (scrap for bough punch)
  • Basic White (scrap for sentiment) 
  • Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (1-1/2" x 4", scrap for bough punch)
• Ink:  Pretty Peacock
• Other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder - LAST CHANCE, Heartfelt Hexagon Punch, Bough Punch - LAST CHANCE, Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim, Adhesive Backed Pearl Trio, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

 

DOstamping Tips:

• Adhere Last Lagoon and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper pieces to textured Crumb Cake panel.
• Wrap the pretty Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim around panel and tie into a knot.  Then adhere to folded card base.
• On white scrap, stamp sentiment from LAST CHANCE Layering Leaves stamp set and cut out with Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.  
• Use the LAST CHANCE Bough Punch to cut leaves from Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock and DSP papers.  Arrange and adhere to under trim.
