Fond Farewell Countdown #7 (Plus bonus Technique)
December 11, 2007
Today I’m featuring the stamp set "Friendship Flowers" found on page 147 in the 2007 Fall/Winter Collection found here. This is an overlooked set, but the greetings that come with it are just wonderful. I don't know about you - but I never have enough greeting/verses.
The card below also features a technique that I taught at a Technique Tuesday class for my stamping club members earlier this year called "Melted Pearls". Instructions: heat emboss image with Crystal Clear embossing powder. Let it cool slightly, then dab on Pearl Ex powder (we no longer carry this powder - but Stampin' Pastels might work too), with a sponge dauber over the embossed image. Reheat. After cooled, wipe off excess powder.
Hope you enjoy today's sample. To make these kinds of cards and learn new techniques - join a club. See club info here on how to join. Clubs forming now for 2008!
