"Holidazzle Max" - Sticky Letter Scrapbook Page

One of the things that Minneapolis is known for is their annual "Holidazzle Parade".  Imagine...in the middle of winter, each evening during the holidays, there is a lighted parade in our downtown area.  Brrr cold!  Our pictures of the parade turned out pretty good and I had fun making them into the scrapbook page below.  BTW - this picture does not do it justice.  IRL - the "h" and the brads are really awesome!

Holidazzleparadepage

A few things about this page:

1.  The "h" is from the new "Sticky Cuts Letters"

2.  I covered it with the new awesome "Fine Cosmo Glitter" (turquoise).

3.  I also covered the brads with the same glitter using "Heat & Stick Powder".  It's very easy to do.  Dip your brad into Versamark or Craft Ink, then dip into the heat & stick powder.  Heat with a heat gun, then dip into the glitter and reheat.

4.  The journaling was done on the computer using the "Write Me a Memory Journal CD - IIMax's first holiday tradition...the Holidazzle Parade, a visit to Macy's 8th floor display, The Nutcracker, his picture with Santa and dinner in downtown Minneapolis.  It was a big day for such a little boy.  He was so good!  By the time we got him all bundled up for the parade and snapped this quick picture...he instantly fell asleep and missed the whole thing.  Oh well...he'll have many more to look forward to.

This was a fun page to do.  Enjoy - Dawn

"Valentine Max" Scrapbook Page

Maxvalentines

I received this adorable picture (and a few more) in the mail today from my Grandbaby, Max.  So I quickly put together a page.  I usually use pink or red for Valentines, but I thought a boy blue valentine page would work too.  I didn't have any blue/brown paper - so I made my own.  The middle strip is from the new, very girlie  Berry Bliss Designer Series Paper.  To make it more boyish, I colored in the "dots" with a Bashful Blue marker (how clever am I?)  The tag is from the "Happy Heart Day Stamp Set" current available in the Valentine Bundle which includes a free roll of ribbon!  Only until 1/31/08 - contact me now to get yours.

Enjoy - Dawn

Max of the Month Club - Calendar (Jan-Mar)

For the holidays, my daughter and I made Scrapbook Calendars for the Grandparents.  Some received the 6 x 6 Desktop version, but most received the 8 1/2 x 11 Wall Calendar version.  We created a scrapbook page for each month of the year and she'll send pictures to everyone each month to add to the pages.  We made a total of 8 calendars - phfew...that was a lot of scrapbook pages!  To help make the creative process go faster, I designed about 4 layouts and "re-used" them throughout the calendar.  Wanna see them?  Here we go...

CD Album - Oct Scrapbook Club Project

I've had tons of requests for a picture of my October Scrapbook Club Project.  This is one of my most popular projects for my scrapbook clubs.  Take an ordinary CD and turn it into an adorable mini scrapbook.  This one features our Cutie Pie Designer Series paper (my favorite) and a dazzling piece of chipboard too!
