Happy Valentines Day!
Here are two wonderful swaps that I received when I went to the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference in Palm Springs last month. The swapping was great at this event. I was able to create 3 new beautiful display boards. Watch for more Leadership swaps at a later date.

Hmm...Almost no stamping on this card at little. Just the greeting. I love this Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper - isn't it beautiful? I also used the "Three for You" Punch for this card - added the punched flower with a matching brad for a cute little accent. Don't forget the Groovy Guava Double Stitched Ribbon for a finishing touch.

This week, millions of romantics--and even some who aren't--will celebrate Valentine's Day, a special holiday set aside to express love for special people in our lives. While the history of this holiday is uncertain (it is named after at least one of several different St. Valentines), current traditions are certainly not! We send an estimated 1 billion cards on this holiday, to remind those around us that they are loved.
Special days such as Valentine's Day are a reminder of one of the central reasons Stampin' Up! exists--we believe in caring for others, and sharing that concern through heartfelt and handmade expressions of our love. With the flood of commercialism that has overtaken our society, handmade valentines are becoming the exception rather than the rule. This only means that hand-stamped cards become even more treasured by those who receive them.
Take time to send a handmade card to your love one.

Embrace Life~This is such a beautiful set. It's hard to make a card that isn't nice. I really like this layout too. I'm sure you'll find me using it more often. Just a couple strips of beautiful "Ginger Blossom" Designer Paper and a bit of River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon. Then add a watercolored flower for a simple and elegant focal point.

Today I'm ending the week with one more SAB sample. This one was done by my very first recruit - Michelle. She's my artsy/fartsy demonstrator. It doesn't surprise me that she picked the "Merci" set. She always does fabulous cards and I love having her on my team. Thanks Michelle!

This is another swap that I made. I was inspired by a card a saw on SCS that used scraps. I love it when I can use my Designer Paper scraps. Besides "So Many Scallops" (which you can get free when you purchase $50 more ), I also used the "Define Your Life" stamp set. I love this set!
