Woohoo for my demos! Just Celebrate, Owl

Woohooowlpile

Are you a demonstrator in my DOstamper's Team?  If so - you'll probably know that I like to say "Woohoo!" a lot.  So when this stamp set Just Celebrate came out in the Occasions Mini Catalog...I just had to have it!

Each month I recognize the demonstrators in my group for various acheivements such as sales, recruiting, anniversaries and more.  If you are one of my demonstrators that received recognition for your February acheivements - you would have received this handstamped card from me.  Ain't I nice?

Woohoo for You!

Bermuda Here we Come!

Cruise_2008_rdax_175x529_2Good (very early) Morning - I'm off to go on my Stampin' Up! Bermuda Cruise!

Woohoo - I love my job.  I've never worked anywhere before where I've had the opportunity to earn a free vacation.

Five years ago when I signed up become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator...I never  dreamed that I would earn free vacations.  I thought they were way out of my league.  You know - I only signed up to get the discount!  Ha!

Now five years later - My husband and I have been on two cruises and I'll earn the next incentive trip to Hawaii (spring 2009) in just weeks!

I want to thank all of my wonderful club members & customers.  Without you, my dreams would never come true.  I feel blessed to have you all in my life and look forward to many years of stamping, growing and having fun with all of you!

Thanks!!

DOstampers Demonstrator Meeting 4/24

One of the perks of becoming a Demonstrator, is attending your upline's meetings.  I generally meet once a month with my demonstrators.  We share creative ideas, business tips, food and of course STAMP!

At my upcoming meeting in April - we're gonna have tons-o-fun!

  • I'm rewarding my demonstrators who earned DIVA status this month with a fun DEAL or NO DEAL game.  They'll play for fabulous Stampin' Up! prizes
  • We're SWAPPING!  This is everyone's favorite.  We all make up cards and swap them with each other.  A great way to get lots of different ideas.
  • STAMPING!  Make & takes are a must!  Here is one of the projects we'll be making.

I received this box (from Terri G) as a Thank You for doing a presentation at a "MN Leader Stamp and Share" earlier this month.  In fact I received a second one (which I sacrificed to get the template).  The second one I received because my card was selected as one of the winners of the card contest - see it here or here.

You too can become a demonstrator.  Join me for my upcoming meeting to see what all of the FUN is about!  Contact me at [email protected] for more information or look here.

Stampers Showcase Friends & Woohoo for me!

Here's a card that I made this winter that was recently featured on Stampers Showcase.

Hmmm...what is Stamper's Showcase?  It's a place on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator's website where they share cards that demonstrators submit to Stampin' Up! for various reasons - contest submissions, swap cards, etc.  Each day they share six card ideas - it's one of the perks of being a SU demonstrator.

I submitted this card along with two others and two scrapbook pages to apply for a Convention Make & Take Display maker (all were featured on Stampers Showcase).  I was fortunate enough to be selected...woohoo for me!

This cards uses the Hostess Level III stamp set - Time Well Spent.  Oh - BTW...this was a stamp set that Stampin' Up! sent to every demonstrator last December.  Just another perk of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator - FREE STAMPS!

The flower is actually heat embossed and watercolored.  Color is Pixie Pink, Pink Passion & Only Orange.

Technique Tues Card - You Decide!

Hey Hedgehog Stamping Club members...Are you ready for Technique Tuesday, April 8th?   Well - I'm not.  Well...mostly I am.

The only thing is...I'm having a debate with my daugher, Becky over the colors.  She's the creative one, so sometimes she pushes me outside of my comfort zone - especially with color combos.  I designed the card below featuring one of the FREE WHEELS you can get from APRIL'S FREE WHEELING SPECIAL.

Here it is with Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky - more my color combo style.

Sample2c

Sample1

This one is Becky's color combo style with Wild Wasabi and So Saffron.  I sooo would have never chosen yellow, but it's growing on me.

So what do you think...which color combo do you prefer?  Wild Wasabi with SOFT SKY or SO SAFFRON.  You decide - let me know by leaving a comment with this post.

REMINDER...Technique Tuesday - Club Member Only Class

  • Tuesday, April 8th (open from 4:30-8:30pm)
  • or Wednesday, April 9th (open from 6:30-8:30pm)
  • RSVP's due by Sunday, April 6th
  • Technique #1 - Stampin' Around Wheels
  • Technique #2 - Rub-on's
  • Bonus Technique - yep, that's right...you get a bonus technique this month.  I'll feature something cool from my Stampin' Up! Bermuda cruise!
