Favorite Boho Camp Card & 10-Petal Flower Tutorial
March 07, 2008
Here's my last sample from the Boho Stamp Camp. It's my favorite! I just love the Pomegranate against the Chocolate Chip. Plus - don't you just love that flower.
So let's talk about the cute Flower!
You'll need two punches: The 5-Petal Flower punch and the new Boho Blossoms punch.
Starting from the top of the flower - the first two flowers are from the Boho Blossoms Punch and matching stamp set One of a Kind. Yes, the stamp set matches the punch...how cool is that? SO COOL!
The next last three flowers are from the 5-Petal Flower punch. OK - so the last two flowers are easy - just punch them out.
But the Purely Pomegrante 10-Petal flower - no, that couldn't be the 5-Petal Flower punch. It sure is and it's easy to do. See elow
PUNCH TIP: 10 Petal Flower from the 5-Petal Flower Punch
Step #1 - punch out a flower
Step #2 - adhere that flower to a piece of lightweight paper (copy paper). You just need a little dab of temporary adhesive, like dotto (love that stuff).
Step #3 - Align the 5-Petal Flower punch in the center of each of the petals. See below
Step #4 - Punch!
Voila - a 10-Petal Flower! You can use this same technique with the Scallop and Boho Blossoms punches. Have fun experimenting!
Disclaimer - I am not the inventor of this super cool idea. Just hopped on the "double punching" bandwagon! Here's a close-up of the finished flower.
