April Technique Tuesday #2 - Wheels

The second technique we tried our hands at was...Stampin' Around Wheels!  There are so many different uses for wheels.  But my favorite is for quick backgrounds.

This card features the easiest way to use a Stampin' Around Wheel...like your reading (left to right), but only diagonally.  Starting in the bottom left corner - wheel your image diagonally across the page.  Continue wheeling diagonally across the entire page, matching up the last image line.  What I like about wheeling this way is...you're less likely to notice crooked stamping.

(c) Stampin' Up! 1990-2008

This card uses the Daisy Dash Wheel and Summer Picnic DSO.  The focal point flower is punched out from the Summer Picnic DSP - using the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  The smaller flower is punched using the 3/4" punch.

The next card, featured using the wheel with the wheel guide.  Just place the wheel guide on your project, then use it as a straight line guide for your wheel.

This card used the "It's Beautiful" Wheel and the "Three for you" Punch kit.  Wild Wasabi with So Saffron color combo.
