It's the last day of Founder's Circle and I only had two things I wanted to do today.
The first one was to finish my 3rd make and take. So I head off to the Gathering Place and stamped with my new friends Ruth and Patty.
I had met Ruth at Leadership in Palm Springs. We had dinner together with our SAM, Beth. She is such a hoot. She earned cruise in her very first year with Stampin' Up! Plus was #2 Rising Star this year. Way to go Ruth! I met Patty this week, but have "known" her through her wonderful blog. She is as sweet as can be. Plus she is on this year's Advisory Board.
Then I had to get my picture take with Bonnie Thurber. She was one of the wonderful Stampin' Up! event staff. They worked tirelessly to make this event so special for each and every one of us!
The second thing I wanted to do today was shop at the outlet mall for my grandson Max, who is almost 18 months old. Michelle was telling me about the deals at Oshkosh and I knew I had to go. However, right after the above was photo taken, I immediately started having back trouble, mainly Sciatica with shooting pains down through my legs. It was awful and embarrasing. So no shopping for me. I ended up laid up for the rest of the trip.
Here I am in my "hospital room". I took over one of the couches and with an ice pack tried to take it easy for the rest of the day. Everyone was so sweet stopping by and chatting, and showing off some of their projects. Beverly stopped by to show her beautiful scrapbook pages. She does really nice work! Thanks for sharing Beverly.
Here's Suzie with her "mayo" ribbon jar. This is so cute and a great way to recycle mayo containers. Everyone kept asking - how did you get the cover green. It's Olive Oil Mayo...hmmm, I may have to give it a try, because I love the green.
Check back later for pictures of our Farewell Dinner/Party!
Enjoy~Dawn O
