DOstamperSTARS More Swaps

More DOstamperSTARS Downline meeting swaps to share!

On this card, Pixie used the "Thumping" technique to achieve the multi-colored background.  Ink up your stamp, then "thump" various colored markers on to the stamp, then stamp onto cardsock.  Voila!

Pixie's-Swap

Stamp set:  Hostess Level I, Live Like You Mean it, and Paisley background stamp.

I really like how Darlene used several different punches (square scallop, scallop circle and scallop edge punch) for her card.

Sept. DOstamperSTARS meeting - Technique Cards

Last month, at my DOstamperSTARS Downline Meeting we got together for fun stamping, demonstrations, swapping and sharing!  I look forward to these monthly meetings with my favorite group of stampers!

At this meeting we had a couple of technique demonstrations.  Jan did this card, showing us a quick and easy background technique.  Crumple up plastic wrap, dab on to inkpad, then on to cardstock.   Voila!

Stamp set:  Hostess Level I, Live Like You Mean it

The next two cards featured the same technique:  Spotlighting.  Gayle and Jessica co-demonstrated the same technique but with different stamping tools.  The first card is Gayle's and she sponged on various colors for her background.  The second card is Jessica's and she used a brayer for her background.

Sep Stamp Camp Project - Dreams DuJour

This is the last and my favorite card from the "Cross the Border" Stamp Camp.  There are so many things I love about this card.  The glittered background paper, the "Scallop Buckle", the Shimmer Paper used for the focal point image.  It all came together so nicely...I love it when that happens!

LoveYou

Isn't this beautiful?!

Tips:

1)  To get your own economical glittered background paper...Just add 2-way glue and glitter, and viola!  Beautiful paper without the expense!

2)  Scallop Buckle Feature is so easy to do.  Start with a 2 3/4" square.  Use the scallop edge punch on all four sides, centering the punch on each side.  Quick and easy!
