Eastern Blooms Christmas Wreath

Here's a cute little treat box with a Christmas Wreath.  The wreath is made with the Eastern Blooms stamp set.

WreathBox

I stamped several flowers with Rose Red CRAFT ink and embossed with clear EP.  Then cut out and layered onto a Boho Blossom flower.

Here's a close up:

WreathFront

Here's the back:  I used a circle punch, then centered the negative space in the Scallop punch to get the shape of the wreath.  It looks a little rough from the back - because I've been showing it at my parties/classes this month.

Have a Safe and Merry Christmas!

12th Day of Christmas: Deck the Halls & Big Shot JOY!

This Holiday Stamp-a-Stack card was inspired by a fellow stamper - Kay aka SpeedyStamper.  It features a Holiday Mini Stamp set called a Season of Friendship.   This is a very versatile set.  It features the tree image, plus several other images including the bird, snowflake, flower, leaf and friendship greeting.  Making it great to use throughout the entire year!

Season-Tree

Supplies used:  Season of Friendship, Best Yet Level one Hostess Set (for greeting), Sanded Background stamp sets, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip & Whisper White (cardstocks and inks).  Punches = Large and Wide Ovals & Scallop Edge.  Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and Dazzling Diamonds (which was applied with 2-way glue pen in the center of the snowflakes...hard to see from the picture).

11th Day of Christmas: Deck the Halls & Big Shot JOY!

Here's another card from my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack.

JOY

It uses the "Deck the Halls" stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  Actually - this card is a CASE of the card featured in that catalog.  However, I used the Big Shot and Serif Essentails Dies (love that set of dies!! - it's a must have!), and the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper (also found in the Holiday mini).

I stamped the ornament in red, then punched in out with our new 1-3/4" Circle Punch.  Then I just stamped the ornament "top" on brushed silver and cut that out.  So dang easy!  Other supplies used:  Baja Breeze , Real Red & Whisper White Cardstock and silver brads.

10th Day of Christmas: Cardinal Christmas Holly & Faux Diamond Dust

Last month I had my annual Stampin' Up! Holiday Stamp-a-Stack.  I open my house up from 9:30 to 4:00pm.  I plan out 9 Holiday Card designs of which everyone gets to make 4 of each for a total of 36 cards.  A Lasagna lunch is included.

I'll share a couple of designs with you today and tomorrow.

Here was my favorite.

Holly

1.PushPin-Note-Reminder-35 Dawn's Stamping Tips - Faux Diamond Dust

For the "berries", I used the Faux Diamond Dust technique.  Swipe your Versamark Ink pad across a piece of Riding Hood Red Cardstock.  Then heat emboss with Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder.  Punch out berries with 1/4" circle punch.

I love the way this turned out.  Here's a close up of the berries:

HollyCU

Supplies used:  A Cardinal Christmas, Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Riding Hood Red Cardstock & Ink.  Ticket Corner & 1/4" Circle punch, Versamark Pad, Irridescent Ice EP, Heat Gun, Riding Hood Red Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Not sure what just happened?

For my email subscribers:

Whoa...It looks like you just got a ton of posts from me.  I'm sorry about that.  Apparantly my email posts have not been going out for about a month now.  A couple of weeks ago, a subscriber brought it to my attention.  I've been working with Typepad this past week trying different things.  So today - the last month's of post just hit your mailboxes.  I'm not sure how they resolved it.  I certainly didn't expect you to receive an email with all of the "missing" posts.  Again I apologize.  Hopefully everything is back on track.

Thanks for your patience!

8th Day of Christmas: Hodgepodge Hardware Bookmark

My stamping club members are invited to attend a monthly class on the first Tuesday of the month.  I have a make-up class on Wednesday's too.  Here is another project they enjoyed making this month.

Bookmark

This Hodgepodge Bookmark project was demonstrated at the Stampin' Up! convention in July 2008 and I'm just getting around to giving it a try.

1.Rubberstamp-40 Dawns Stamping Supplies

1.  Hodgepodge Hardware Label piece (designed to fit with the Designer Label Punch, retired 6/30/2011)
2.  Bravo Burgundy 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (about 24")
3.  Always Artichoke 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (about 6")
4.  Lovely Letters Alphabet Set
5.  Bravo Burgundy and Always Artichoke ink or markers
6.  Word Window Punch

I did assemble it a little bit differently.  Here is a look from the backside.

BookmarkBank

I took a punch-out from the Word Window punch and cut it in half.  Attached it to the backside of the monogram initial (which was punched using the Designer Label Punch).  Then attached another Designer Lable Punch-out over that to create a clean backside.

BookmarkPile

I also used this as my swap for my downline meeting's 3-D swap last month.  I'm thrilled the way these turned out.  They went together surprisingly fast!

Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware #112454 $29.95 (retired 6/30/2011)
