Sale-A-Bration PMS Stamp Camp - Botanical Blooms

Here's another one of my Stampin' Up! Leadership Display samples that we made at my PMS Stamp Camp this past weekend.

This one uses the FREE Sale-A-Bration Botanical Blooms stamp set.  I love the light and springtime feel this card has.  It makes me long for spring.  I'm done with the winter snow and cold!

 

 

A close up of the glitter added to the flower centers.  It's just the right touch!

Supplies used:  Botanical Blooms (SAB), Heard from the Heart stamp sets, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Delicate Dots DSP (SAB), Scallop Edge Punch, Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, 2-way glue, Dazzling Diamonds

Sale-A-Bration: Botanical Blooms 2-4-6-8 Tall Box

Here's a Tall 2-4-6-8 Box that I did using a full 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of Whisper White cardstock and the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Botanical Blooms and the So Saffron ribbon from the Ribbon Bundle.  This is absolutely gorgeous in real life!  The Dazzling Diamonds Glitter added with a 2-way Glue Pen, makes this a beautifully charming gift box that anyone would love to receive.

 

 

 

Directions:

1.  Decorate your 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock first (or use DSP)  NOTE:  to make a shorter box, just use 1/2 a sheet of cardstock (8-1/2 x 5-1/2).  The rest of the instructions remain the same.

2.  Score at 2, 4, 6, 8"

3.  Then turn and score at 2". 

3.  Cut up to the 2" mark on the 2,4,6,8 lines (as shown above). 

4.  Cut away the small 1/2" rectangle at the bottom right corner (as shown above). 

5.  To assemble your box...use Sticky Strip on the 1/2" panel on the right (as shown above). 

6.  Fold in all four flaps of your box bottom.  Use Sticky Strip to adhere where necessary. 

7.  Pinch the top of your box together and add ribbon

8.  Give to someone special!

The Polka Dot Punches stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration brochure is such a wonderfully versatile stamps set.  A great basic set for any stamper.  Combine it with the Delicate Dots Designer Paper (from the same brochure) and you've got a recipe for some cute projects.

Sale-A-Bration PMS Stamp Camp - Polka Dot Punches!

Here are a couple of cards we made at my PMS Stamp Camp this weekend.  Both cards were from my Stampin' Up! Leadership Display samples.

Gotta love the FREE Sale-A-Bration Polka Dot Punches stamp set.  The images will fit in the following punches:

• Full Heart
• Scallop Circle
• 5 Petal Flower
• 1 1/4" Circle

So much you can do with this set.  Both of these cards feature this stamp set.

 

The one above is a simple clean design, yet playful!  The FREE SAB Delicate Dots DSP squares were punched with 1 3/8" Square.  The designer brad is from Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware.

For the the one below, the gold embossing brings out a more tradional and elegant mood.  Colors are Real Red, Basic Black & Brushed Gold.

Setting up for Stamp Camp: How does she do it?

I often get asked by my long distance demonstrators, "How do you set up for a stamp camp?"  So I thought I would take some pictures and share them with everyone.

First off - I have a pretty small home, but it is "cabin" cozy with a nice view.  The lake side of the house could be described as a small "great room".  With the kitchen, dining area and living room all one big space.   This allows everyone to be in the same area with several stamping stations. 

My husband and I have a routine for setting up.  He sets up the banquet tables and chairs, and puts out several garbages.  He's been a very supportive husband!  Some of my customers wish he could be cloned!  

Then I go about setting up the rest.  Each table is treated as a station with my large dining table used for 2 stations.  For a total of 5 stations.  For this weekend's PMS stamp camp - everyone made 10 cards (2 of 5 designs).

The white or black baskets are the "tool" baskets (bone folder, snail, scissors, dimensionals, etc).  The green baskets are for scraps.

 

Here's the catalog table.  Plus I have a small display table in my hallway.  Didn't get a picture of that...maybe next time.

DOdesign Team: Introducing Michelle and Petals Pizzaz (Day #2)

Welcome to Day #2 of DOdesigner Michelle Schimdt's creations.  Today I'm sharing her 12x12 Scrapbook Page and her adorable 3-D project.

 

Isn't her daughter a super cutie?  I can see why Michelle loves scrapbooking.  She does a great job!

 

I just about fell over when Michelle showed me this adorable purse.  Sorry I don't have a pattern to share.

DOdesign Team: Introducing Michelle and Petals Pizzaz (Day #1)

I am so fortunate to have some wonderful stampers in my demonstrator group.  So, this winter I put together a DOdesign team.  I wanted to give some of them an opportunity to creat display samples.  So each were given a stamp set and other various product and asked to create!

Today I'm introducing Michelle Schmidt & Petal Pizzaz.    

Here's a little bit about Michelle.  She was actually my very first recruit.  It's been a joy watching her grow over the past few years.  She's a single mom raising two beautiful children.  I'm amazed and proud of everything she does.  Her love of scrapbooking brought her to her love of Stampin' Up!  She has a graphic design background and always amazes our group with her awesome talent.

Here are some of her creations:

 

 

The above 6x6 scrapbook page and below 6x3 card are made from the same supplies.  Both start with a 6x6 piece of Night of Navy cardstock.   These are my favorites!
