One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is our monthly Stampin' Success magazine. It's filled with tons of creative and business ideas. I refer to it often for inspiration and technique ideas. In fact, the Gradation Technique was featured in a recent magazine.
Another perk of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the opportunities to receive FREE STAMP SETS - Woohoo! For this technique card, I used the new Simple Friendship stamp set that I received at my Founder's Circle Trip! Don't you just love the butterfly from this stamp set?
Here is the 3rd project we did at my Technique Tuesday class this month. It features the gradation technique. For the other projects we made see here: Project #1-Heart Basket, Project #2-Accordion Card
Gradation Technique Instructions: Using markers, color a solid image with two colors. For the butterfly we used Orchid Opulence in the middle and Rose Red on the left & right. Then use a sponge dauber and blend the two colors only where they meet.
Supplies used: Simple Friendship stamp set, Orchid Opulence & Rose Red markers, ink & cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Raspberry Tart Designer Paper, Spiral punch, Rose Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Snips & Stampin' Dimensionals.
