Vintage Vogue Meets Elegant Bouquet Folder

One of the things I like to do when I get a new stamp set is to look through the Stampin' Up! catalog to see what backgound options there are to compliment it.  Stampin' Up! has so many options, such as:  Designer Series Paper, Background Stamps, Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, Texturz plates and more!

So when I was on the search for items to match the new Occasions Mini stamp set, Vintage Vogue - I selected the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (#115964).  The flowers are a great match, plus I love the added texture!

Supplies:  Vintage Vogue, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede & Dusty Durango Cardstock, Soft Suede & Dusty Durango Classic Ink, Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot, Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals

So don't forget the matching images, whether backgrounds stamps, pattern paper or texture plates or folders.  There's bound to be something to spice up your card making.

Today's card was my downline Gayle's, shoebox card from our last DOstamperSTARS meeting.  If you're in need of a quick, easy, but CUTE baby card - this handmade card fits the bill!

Haiti Relief: Stampin' Up! & You Can Make a Difference

 

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. You can help make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of this earthquake by purchasing, the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set.  

From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set purchased, Stampin' Up! will make a donation to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relif and Dvelopment Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
