DOstamperSTARS Having a GREAT time!

Woohoo! We had a GREAT time at my monthly DOstamperSTARS meeting last night.  My group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators are awesome!  There was tons of sharing, demonstrations, laughing and of course stamping!

Here's what everyone got to make last night.  These 3 cards, plus 1/3rd of a pack of Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Pieces.  They were the hit of the night!  Everyone fell in love with Stampin' Up! Sweet Pea Flowers!

Here's Stephanie (one of our new demonstrators) working on her Stampin' Up! On Board Book Heart Bag Tag. 

Here's Susan Auyer (guest speaker all the way from Michigan - thanks Susan!) and Pixie sanding their On Board Book Hearts.  They were very instense with their sanding.  Until I said that was unusual for Pixie (who's always laughing!)

Aaah - there we go!  That's the Pixie I know!

Here's alway happy Jan!!  Plus she's my #1 meeting helper.  Thanks Jan!

2.  Apply Anywhere Glue Stick to your chipboard piece
3.  Use Sanding Block on the outer edges
4.  Sponge Coordinating Color (Taken With Teal) on the outer edges
5.  Use Pop-up Glue Dots to adhere Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flowers

Sharing Mini Milk Carton Gift Box Instructions

As promised, today I'm sharing the instructions to make the Mini Milk Carton Gift Box from the February Control Freaks Tour. 

For the tour, I shared an Easter Mini Milk Carton Gift Box.  However, the box below was the original Gift Box I made for Stampin' Up!'s Mini Milk Cartons, which two fit nicely. 

In fact, this was one of the projects we did at my last month's DOstamperSTARS quarterly Camp-A-Rama. (a quarterly camp and recognition meeting I do especially for my demonstrators)!

I saw a similiar box somewhere but no instructions.  So I sat down and figured it out...trial and error.  It was a good exercise in making boxes.  I learned a lot and think I'm better at it now.  Sometimes you just have to dig in and figure things out for yourself...you can DO it!

But today - you don't have to DO it yourself, you get the fruits of my labor!

February 20th: Tour de Freaks, Occasions Mini Catalog

First up is a handmade Easter Card...
Actually change up the greeting from the Well Scripted stamp set and you've got a card for Mother's Day or Birthdays too!

Isn't this gorgeous?  With the new Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flowers, you really don't need much more.  They do the job beautifully.  So clean and simple.  Though - I couldn't decide if it needed another layer.  Maybe just a little something at the bottom.  What do you think?  With or without?

Max's Valentine

I mentioned the other day, that the little boy holding a heart from Stampin' Up!'s Very Thankful stamp set (see my Thank You Boy card) reminded me of my grandson Max.  Take a look and tell me what you think?

Here's the cute little valentine we made together for his Mommy & Daddy. 

I'm so glad he likes to stamp!  He's my little stampin' buddy!  We used the NEW Sweetheart Stamp Set , Heart to Heart Punch, Old Olive Satin Ribbon (from the Occasions Mini Catalog) and retired paper.  Didn't he do a great job?!

ALSO - Isn't that an adorable way to make a valentine?  I can't take credit for it.  Shannon from Stampin' Up! showed us how to make it at Leadership last month.
