I love the set today and I diffently like the idea with the circle out of the cardstock. I like the frog the best. My grandson is a big fan of frogs. Woohoo!! What a wild ride the last five days has been! Your overwhelming response to my DOcelebration Online Event has touched my heart and I'm thankful for all of you!
I've received a handful of questions throughout the event which I'll try to answer in the next coming days. It sounds like a lot of you are visual learners, so I'll probably get some more videos going to help with that.
Today I'm prepping for tonight's Scrapbooking Club Class, as well as the DOcelebration Prizes - ooooh.
Remember - you still have today to enter. Names will be drawn tomorrow. So check back then to see if your name is drawn!!
Welcome to Day #5 of my DOcelebration Online Event! I enjoyed reading what everyone did for Valentines Day. For those that asked what movie we went to, we saw Blide Side. Not sure why we waited so long to see it. I have to say - it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
Well - I can't believe it's been 5 days and that today is the last day! I hope you'll stop by even after the party is over.

This is Stampin' Up!'s Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set. For every set sold, Stampin' Up! donates $2 to RMHC. (FYI - It's free with a $50 order)
Each year, I like to have a stamp camp that features the RMHC stamp set. This year I did the stamp camp back in September. Each stamper received their very own Very Thankful stamp set and made 3 cards of 4 designs (Keeping 8 cards and donating 4 RMHC). A total of 50 cards were donated, which I brought with me to Leadership in Phoenix just last month). Read more about RMHC here!
Here are the cards they made (For supply lists & Dawn's Stamping Tips, click on each photo):
Next is the 4th and final stamp camp card -the Peacock...which was my favorite. I used a SO VERY EASY stamping technique on the Peacock to get a multi-colored look.
Wanna see how it was done? I did a quick video on How-to-DO-it! FYI - I just started doing videos last fall and this was my first one. So be kind!
So which is your favorite? You know my favorite is the peacock. My next favorite is the boy - he's growing on me. Kinda reminds me of my 2-1/2 yr old grandson Max (who ripped the heart off of his valentine I sent him - LOL). Actually - I have an adorable picture of Max with the Valentine he made for his Mommy and Daddy. It totally reminds me of the stamped boy card. Maybe I'll share tomorrow.
Let me know your favorite when you leave your comment today (which enters you in the drawing* for the Very Thankful stamp set and Stamp Camp Project Pack)

Today's project comes under the category of Clean & Simple. Lately, I've been drawn to this style of stamping. The cards below were inspired by a swap I received at Founders Circle from my friend Penny. Here's a card I made last fall with the same layout.
I had planned to add a greeting using Stampin' Up!'s Chat Room Rub-Ons from the Occasions Mini Catalog. But can I find them! Nope, not anywhere. Does anyone else suffer from the "I can't find it" disease?
I paired each of these cards with Stampin' Up!'s 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. The circles are punched with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch (Orange & Lime circles use a 1" circle punch). The next Whisper White Layer measures 1-3/4" x 1-3/4". The mats of coordinating color measure 2" x 2" (Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Olive Olive & Chocolate Chip).
Now, I need something to put them in. I started wracking my brain for just the right container and then remembered a stationary portfolio I made several years ago. I thought I could adapt it for this project.
A couple of things I like about this Portfolio Holder Box:
1. No adhesive - love it! 2. Quick & Easy 3. It can accommodate cards with bulky ribbon 4. Did I say, Quick & Easy?

So, which card do you like? Orange, Strawberry, Apple or Cherries? I'm leaning toward the cherries card myself. I really like the way the black sets off the cherries image. However...What I like the best about it is, this is one of those stamp sets that you can design a card layout and use it for all four of the images! All four of today's handmade cards have the same layout - just change the color and embellishments, and Voila!

Oh - almost forgot...How do you like the box? Isn't is cool?
