More Favorite Stampin' Up! Halloween Swaps

This weekend I'm sharing some of my favorite Halloween Swap cards.  Today's cards I received from fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators at the Stamp Share for Leaders meeting this month and from some of my Control Freak friends!

 

This is Kelly Powell's "Wicked Cool" Control Freaks swap card...
I liked the way she used the Bitty Bat behind the greeting - clever idea!

 

 
This is Melanie Schulenburg's "Dark and Dreary" Control Freaks swap card...
Look at all of the details, Waffle Paper (from the HolidayMini Catalog), Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Designer Series Paper Stack-Neutral and Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.  I would have never thought to use Cherry Cobbler for Halloween.  But it works - gives it a vampire feel to it!

 

 
This is Sandy Carlson's "Grateful Greetings" Stamp Share for Leader's swap card...
I always love a good punch art card and there's lot of it here.  With Wide Oval and Circle pumpkins, ghosts made from the Owl punch and the greenery is from the Bird punch.  Super cute pumpkin patch!!

 

 

 
This is Terri Gaines' "Midnight Raven" Stamp Share for Leader's swap card...
I love the surprise on the inside of her card!  Great pop-up idea!!

Favorite Halloween Swaps from Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle

This weekend I'm sharing some of my favorite Halloween Swap cards.  Today's cards I received while at the Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle Retreat last month.

 

This is April Roycroft's "From the Crypt" swap card...
I liked the way she used the Waffle Paper (from the Holiday Mini Catalog) on her card.  I also liked the way she hung the spider on the Spider Web Texture Impressions Embossing Folder.

 

 

This is Dawn Griffith's "Dark & Dreary" swap card...
I liked the way she combined the patterns from the Nite Owl Designer Series Paper (from the Holiday Mini Catalog).

 

 

This is Deb Valder's "Dark & Dreary" swap card...
I love the folder Flower Rosette she made for the candelabra.  If you'd like to see how-to make one, I have Flower Rosette Picture Tutorial you can read in a post from last year. 

 

 

This is Patty Bennett's My Digital Studio Hybrid swap card...
She designed the background paper/layout (including the owl) in My Digital Studio and added the ribbon and greeting afterwords...hence hybrid!

Glenda's A Cute Christmas Founder's Circle Swap

I received this adorably cute card swap from Glenda Travelstead at Founder's Circle.  I love everything about it - the punched edge with the Designer Series Paper, the simple coloring of the A Cute Christmas ornaments, the touch of glitter and the darling Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding bow!  Just a perfect card!  Wouldn't you say so?

 

So - I'd liked this card so much that I used the layout for a card I'm doing for my November 13th Holiday Stamp-a-Stack.  Check out my Peaceful Season's sneak peak card.

Wouldn't it be nice to get all your handmade holiday cards done in one day, have someone else design them for you, and have someone else cut and prep them for you?  Ah, ya!

Two Sessions:
9:00am -1:00pm    OR   1:00pm - 5:00pm 

• Four cards of nine different designs = 36 cards
• Most supplies will be pre-cut and ready to stamp

• No stamping experience necessary

Stampin' Up! Uncharted Territory

When the 2010 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog was released in July, I just had to have the new Uncharted Territory stamp set.  I don't have many masculine sets and thought it was a nice one.  However, it has sat untouched on my shelf for a couple of months, until I was inspired by a card that Jen Sannes did last month.  I love her clean and simple style, which is perfect for this set.

I did change up a few things, such as the ribbon and punch choice as well as one of the colors.  But basically it's the same card.  Thanks Jen!
