Autumn Spice DSP: Nat King Cole's Autumn Leaves Inspired
November 12, 2010
Autumn is definitely in the air here in Minnesota! Today's card takes a nod from a song performed by Nat King Cole called Autumn Leaves (take a listen, it's so beautiful) and Stampin' Up!'s Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Here are the lyrics:
The falling leaves
Drift by the window
The autumn leaves
Of red and gold
I see your lips
The summer kisses
The sunburned hands
I used to hold
Since you went away
The days grow long
And soon I'll hear
Old winter's song
But I miss you most of all
My darling
When autumn leaves
Start to fall
I took my inspiration from the very first line, "The falling leaves drift by the window".
I hope you enjoyed this musically inspired project. I look forward to sharing more of these with you in the future. If you're so inclined...use today's "Autumn Leaves" Music Inspiration to make a card of your own. I invite you to share a link to your card in my comments section.
Have fun and enjoy the music!!
