Stamp That Tune SSC031: Blossom Petal Builder Punch
January 13, 2011
It's another Thursday Challenge and today it's a "Stamp That Tune" Challenge!
Be inspired by Marie Osmond's Paper Roses Album Cover. Or listen to the song for inspiration. Either way - join us by leaving a comment with a link to your Paper Roses creation!
Here's my card...
Isn't this gorgeous?! If I do say so myself!
I was drawn to how the flowers "climbed" up the side of the album cover, so that's where I started. Using the new Build-a-Blossom stamp set and matching Blossom Petal Builder Punch, I created three flowers stamping Regal Rose Ink on Pretty in Pink cardstock. I sponged a little ink on the edges to make the flowers "pop" a little bit more. Then finished the flowers off with a pearl jewel.
The Certainly Celery base is textured with the brand-new, absolutely-gorgeous, must-have
Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. Then I added a little depth by sponging the raised edges with Old Olive Ink.
