Today's card was one of the favorites from my "Just Cards Buffet" class last week. It's clean and simple styling makes this a perfect card for anyone to make (beginner or experienced stamper). I chose a newer stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Easy Events. Which happens to be one of the stamp sets you can choose when you get the fabulous Stampin' Up! Starter Kit (see more details below).
Check out the "sugary" frosting. Just use a 2-Way Glue Pen to add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Looks yummy!!

Now I know 100's of people locally and 1000's globally - all thanks to Stampin' Up!"

Yesterday, as I was preparing for my DOstamperSTARS Downline Shoebox Swap Meeting, cookies were baking in the kitchen! Oooh - nothing better than the smell of freshly baked cookies! Just thinking of them now, I can imagine their aroma filling my house...aaah!
I was anxious to try out my friend Missy Shipman's Best-Ever Snickdoodles recipe. Let me tell you...she wasn't lying. They are the BEST-EVER!!
What made them even better was the fun we had stamping them with the new Stampin' Up! Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps! SO MUCH FUN! We were giddy with delight as we stamped each cookie. Though, for this recipe, we stamped them right away after they baked. Two recipes are included with your Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp (sugar cookie and shortbread cookie) and which are stamped prior to baking.

Never in a million years would I have thought I'd be a "career" demonstrator (see Types of Demonstrators). I joined to get the discount and to save money. Look at me now - it brings tears to my eyes to look back on my accomplishments.

I DO know...with 8 years as a demonstrator, earning 6 incentive trips, 4 years in the Top 100/Founder's Circle, a successful stamping blog and serving on the Advisory Board, I bring a lot of experience to the table that I'm very willing to share with any of the demonstrators in my group. Plus - I've got some nice little handmade goodies for you when you sign up!

OK - yesterday's candy packaging was for the women at the office. So today's packaging can be used for the guys. Who am I kidding? The gals will want it too! You can't go wrong with this Hershey Nuggets Very Merry Wrap. It would even make a great stocking stuffer too!
This project uses the Stampin' Up! stamp set, It's a Wrap Holidays. Like the original, It's a Wrap stamp set - it's designed to use with "sticker labels" (30 on a sheet). However - I really don't care for the look of the stamped image on the labels. The labels don't seem to take the ink really well. Plus - for this project, I wanted it stamped on Very Vanilla. SO - I made my own "labels". A "regular" label size is 1" x 2-5/8". But I like 1" x 3-1/8" for wrapping the nuggets.
In the video below - I show you my way for wrapping the nuggets as well as a quick demonstration on how to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig. In my opinion, the Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must-have when using these stamp sets.
