Stampin' Up! Leadership: Mixed Bunch & Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' Kit

There are several reasons I attend Stampin' Up! events.  To name a few...get new business ideas/tips, get together with like-minded people and get motivated and inspired.  At the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference I attended in January I was just that..inspired.  There were samples everywhere!  Whether made by fellow demonstrators or Stampin' Up! staff - we were surrounded by endless creativity! 

That's where today's 2012 Occasions Mini "Mixed Bunch" card came from.  I totally fell in love with it and just had to CASE it (copy and share everything).  I made minor changes (greeting, embellishments), but the look and feel of the card is the same.  Take a look...

Isn't it adorable?  I love the way the new Blossom Punch was used to create a window coming off the side of the card.  Don't recognize the pattern paper?  That adorable paper is from the Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' Kit.  Both of these items are from the Stampin' Up! 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog - available only until 4/30/12

This photo gives you a better look at the dimension and texture on the card.  That's right...I used the Striped Texture Impressions Embossing Folder to add some texture.  Did you know...this folder is one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration product choices with a $50 order?

Card Buffet Class: Well Worn Masculine Card

One of the most requested card types I get for my Just Cards Buffet Class is Masculine Cards.  So last month I pulled out Stampin' Up!'s Well Worn Designer Series Paper and put this card together.  It was a huge hit!

Control Freaks Sharing Big Shot Creations!

Welcome to the Control Freaks February 2012 Tour (officially starts February 20th). We are thrilled to have you join us today. Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, if you started in the middle of the tour you may have just come from fellow freaker, Patty Bennett's blog.

Lattice Die Garden Card & Box#2

Today's project was inspired by a dollar store find that I've had sitting on my desk for quite sometime, that featured a lattice garden image.  So I got out the Lattice Die and got cutting with my Big Shot!

I'm just tickled with the way this turned out.  The best thing was when my husband said, "I really like it because I can see where you were inspired.  But yours looks better."  Ah-that was sweet of him!  He's the best. 

The greeting is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set and was punched with the XL Oval punch.  Then matted onto a die cut from Lots of Tags (set of 4). 

The flowers were created with the Fun Flowers Die (Melon Mambo & Rose Red cardstock) and Island Floral Die (Peach Parfait & Tangerine Tango).  I used the Faux Suede technique to break up the fibers and create suede texture layers

The box was created with the Box #2 Die and the XL Oval punch to create a window.  Again the Lots of Tags Die was added around the window to coordinate with the card, along with the flower accent.

Everyday Enchantment Quilted Birthday Card Video

10 Min Tues Video: Mixed Bunch Butterfly & Outlined Occasions Thanks!
