Control Freaks: Stampin' Up! Spring and Easter Projects

Welcome to the Control Freaks March 2012 Tour (officially starts March 20th). We are thrilled to have you join us today. Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, you may have just come from fellow freaker, Sandy Mathis' Blog.
Our theme for this month is: Spring into Spring - Projects for spring or Easter.
First, my inspiration...a napkin.
Inspiration comes from many places for me. Sometimes I'll see a color combo while I'm shopping. Or a cool layout idea from an advertisement in a magazine. I just never know when or where it will hit me.
These napkins caught my eye at our local grocery store. I instantly fell in love with the color combo. In addition, the flowers made me think of Stampin' Up!'s Die, Flowers Daisies#2.
Here's the Easter Daisy Card I came up with...
Didn't it turn out great? I'm really happy with it. The colors in the napkin weren't an exact match for Stampin' Up! colors. But I was able to come up with colors that were close; Pool Party, Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Wild Wasabi. Who would have thought? I definitely wouldn't have come up with this color combo on my own. But I like it!
Well, with the napkin...that got me thinking of a table setting, which led to my next project...Framelit Daisy Place Cards.
