Stampin' Up! Retired Lists FAQ's

I've been receiving a few questions regarding Stampin' Up!'s Retired Stamp Set List.  So I thought I would take a couple minutes to answer them.

Retired List FAQ'S

Q.  Are all languages retiring for a stamp set? 
A.  When you see either/or [ESP, FRA], that indicates the retiring stamp set is also available in additional languages, and they too will retire.

Q.  The PDF list is hard to read and I'm unable to download the Excel list.  Is there another list that is easier to read?
A.  I agree, the PDF is a little hard to read.  So I created two additional PDF's out of the Excel list.

Q.  Will Stampin' Up! run out of stamps?
A.  No, Stampin' Up! will not run out of stamps, as they manufacture stamps set themselves.  However, May 31st will be the LAST DAY to order them.

Q.  When will the RETIRED ACCESSORY List be released?
A.  On April 25th, the retired accessory will be posted.  These items are in limited supply and will only be available first come, first serve.  So you'll want to order them asap.  Be sure to visit my blog on April 25th to see the list.

Q.  Do you know of any products that will be retiring?
A.  That's a good question.  So far, we've only been told that the Decor Elements line and the Simply Adorned line will be retired.  However, we do know that it's time for the 2010 In Color product line (ink, markers, cardstock, ribbon, etc), as this product is only available for two years and that time will expire May 31st.

Retiring: Stampin' Up! For All You Do

Oh my gosh, this year's Stampin' Up! Retired Stamp Set List hit me hard.  But that's OK, I still have plenty of stamp sets to play with.  Plus - that just means there will be more NEW for me to get when the 2012/2013 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog is released June 1st!  I can't wait to see it!

If you're familiar with Stampin' Up!, you might be thinking...the Stampin' Up! Retired List is early this year. And you'd be right! That's because the NEW 2012/2013 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog will also be early this year too...June 1st.

To make room for all the fresh new stamps on their way, it's time to say goodbye to some of old our favorites.  This is your chance to get them before they're gone. (Note:  Be sure to stop back on April 25th for the Retired Accessories List)

When you view the retiring stamps list, you may notice it's longer than in years past. During this transition to the new annual catalog, there are a higher number of stamps being refreshed and replaced than usual. While many stamps are going away, most are being replaced so that the breadth of our stamp lines is every bit as broad as ever, making the NEW 2012/2013 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog as exciting as ever!!

Guy Card: Stampin' Up! Natures Silhouette

I've probably said this before, but...the number #1 request I get for cards is Guy Cards!  Today's Guy Card is a card inspired by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator and friend Michelle Waletzko.  Thanks Michelle!

It's 10-Minute Tuesday!  Where I show you how to make a card from start to finish, in 10 minutes or less. 

Today's card, is a Summer Smooches swap card I received from my friend Jill Hilliard.  I immediately knew I wanted to do this card at my next stamping club meeting.  It features a fun scored Diamond Background using the NEW Stampin' Up! Diagonal Scoring Plate!
