Stampin' Up! Convention 2012, Awards Night

Woohoo, Thursday was a fun day at the Stampin' Up! Convention 2012.

The morning general session with Stampin' Up! staff greeting us with a huge line of high 5's, was so cool!  An awesome convention song and video.  I hope they post it on YouTube, as you gotta see it!

There was a guest speaker, Jason Dorsey.  He was awesome, both fun and educational. 

Then I was off to Make and  Takes.  Followed by a couple of organized swaps, fabulous classes and a sneak peak at MDS2 - it's gonna be awesome!

Then Awards night.  They did it Oscars style...great job!  There was even a "red carpet" area for photo ops.  he he...don't we look like rock stars?!  I have to say, Stampin' Up! does an awesome job of making us feel special.

I'm so delighted and thrill with my business this past year.  And YOU, my customers and downline help make it happen...THANKS!

As you know...I did earn Founder's Circle, top 100 Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

But in addition, I also recognized in one of the top 10 categories!  I've never been in the top 10 before, but I thought I might have a slim chance for the Sr Associate Promotion Catagory.  And sure enough - I was #8.  At least I think I was 8.  I was so excited to hear my name called, I wasn't paying enough attention to the number.  Woohoo - super
exciting!  (hmm...now that I relook at the picture...duh #8!)  Very cool to see your name on the screen!!

In addition, the outgoing Advisory Board was recognized for our service and asked to give a 2-minute "speech" on our AB experience.  So it was a busy and rewarding night!

Stamping Convention Purse - So Cute (and updates)

Hi everyone -

I wanted to check in real quick before my day begins...

Yesterday I had a FUN first day here at the Stampin' Up! convention and it doesn't even officially begin until today!

Each year we receive a special tote when we check-in.  This year's tote is actually a purse.  Filled with catalogs, stamp sets for our make & takes, an adorable Convention Notebook and pen!

Then off to the awards booth to pick up my award pins AND...Founder's Circle letter!  Woohoo!  Yes, for the 5th year in a row, I'm one of the top 100 Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  In addition, I earned a trip to Fiji for me and my husband!!

I spent the afternoon catching up with my demonstrator friends. Then ended the evening with a fabulous creative class of sharing from some of Stampin' Up! concept artists.

Well, I'm off for breakfast with my Advisory Board friends, then heading over to the convention center for General Session, classes and swapping!!

I'm so excited to announce my next DOstamperSTARS Demonstrator Camp-a-Rama Event.  Again I'm opening it up to local Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from MN (or even WI or IA), you can register for this awesome event and stamp with some of the nicest gals around!

I'm even more excited to announce that Patsy Waggoner will be our guest speaker.  Patsy is an Executive from Alexandria, MN.  She's been a demonstrator for 14+ years and has earned many incentive trips, and is a Founder's Circle Achiever!

Stampin' Up! Annual Convention, Here I Come!

Woohoo - one of my favorite events of the year is the Stampin' Up! convention.

This morning I'll be arriving in Salt Lake City.  I have a lot on the schedule today.  Check in and see what our FREE Tote is this year (always fun!), visit the awards booth, swap, say hi to old and new friends, swap, go shopping in Momento Mall, swap and a creative class tonight.
