Founder's Circle: I'm off to St. George!

Today I'm off to St. George, UT for my Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle Achiever's Trip.  I'm so looking forward to relaxing and reconnecting with friends, and making new friends too. 

Here's the travel wallet, luggage tags and agenda book they sent us a couple weeks ago. 

I want to take a minute to thank my awesome customers, club members and DOstamperSTARS!  You are all the best!  Without you, experiences like this wouldn't be possible.  I've been reminded lately by several of you, that I'm a great demonstrator.  I know that seems weird for me to say that here.  But sometimes a person needs to hear just that.  Not for the sake of hearing it - but to really know that you make a difference.  I'm so glad that many of you find I do make a difference and enrich your lives.  That means a lot to me.  Thank you from the bottom of the heart!

Ok - enough of the sappy stuff.  I've pre-posted some blog entries for you while I'm gone.  I'll also try to check in once or twice to give you the scoop on what's happening.  We always have great fun, wonderful food, awesome pillow gifts and more!

Perfectly Preserved, Window Framelits & Piercing Pack

Today's card is a case (copy and share everything) of the Perfectly Preserved card from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog (pg 29).  I didn't make the card exactly as shown, but it was the inspiration for the card below.

Embellished Events: Baby and Vintage Trinkets

I've needed some baby cards lately, so I turned to this adorable rubber duck image from the Embellished Events stamp set from Stampin' Up! 

The Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon helps give it a pop of color and coordinates nicely with the duck.  (FREE Ribbon with $40 order - see below for details!)  The duck is colored "direct to stamp" with So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Markers.

Guest Stamper Sunday: Connie Plaumann Wonderfall Projects

It's Guest Stamper Sunday again and today I'm featuring one of my long distance DOstamperSTARS Connie Plaumann, from WI.  Connie joined Stampin' Up! last fall.  Oh my, she's coming up a her one year anniversary very soon.  She's a big Stampin' Up! fan and has already enjoyed a Stampin' Up! Regional Event and Convention too!  Here we are at convention just a few months ago.

Ghoolish Googlies Designer Kit Card

When I started playing around with the Ghoolish Googlies Designer Kit (from the 2012 Holiday Catalog), I found there was leftover tags.  So I put one of them to use on today's card - paired with the Googly Ghouls stamp set (which I purchased both together as a bundle saving 15%!!)

Here's a close up of the extra tag that I embellished with a BOO Bitty Banner Framelit and Basic Glimmer Brad.  Plus, you get a whole package of Googlies (eyes) with the kit.  So I had to use some of them too.

Here are the details for Dawn's "Just Cards" Buffet TO GO Class:

1. You'll receive a variety of the cards shown. You'll receive at least 5 or more different cards, of which some you'll receive two of, for a total of 8 card kits. (Cards may not be hand selected, as they are packaged randomly.)  However, monthly subscribers will be guaranteed a full selection of card offerings.
2. Card kits include envelopes and the pre-cut card pieces and accessories for you to complete your card.  Adhesive is not included.
3. Details instructions are NOT provided.  Once the class is mailed to you, you will receive an email notice that will include the card kit PDF.  The PDF will include a photo and supply list for each card.  If you need detailed instructions, this class may not meet your needs.
4. Die cutting and shape punching will be completed for you (without stamped images).  However, most border punching is NOT provided.
5. Texture embossing will be completed for you as well, except when stamping first is necessary.
6. Stamped images are NOT included in the card kits.  This is in accordance with Stampin' Up! copyright policy.  If you do not have a specific stamp set used for a card, you may purchase them in my online store.  Or you can substitute like-size images.

Stampin' Up! Frightening Feline, Moonlighting Technique Video

At my Stamping Club last month, we found the Stampin' Up! Frightening Feline stamp (128105) not so frightening at all (holiday mini catalog pg 26).  In fact - many commented that he looked like the Chesshire Cat!

I paired him with the Moonlighting Technique and he really pops off the card!  Take a look...

Guest Stamper Sunday: Laurie Zoellmer Ornament Keepsakes Project & Video

You are in for a treat today, as I'm introducing a new feature on my blog...Guest Stamper Sunday.  Each Sunday I'll showcase one of my DOstamperSTARS and their creations.  I have a talented team and I'd like to share their artwork with you.

First up is my friend and DOstamperSTAR, Laurie Zoellmer... 

Laurie just celebrated her 5 year Stampin' Up! anniversary!  Woohoo, Laurie!  She has a big personality and gives freely of her time and talents.  She's a prolific stamper and shares EVERYTHING!!

She always volunteers to help and when I asked her if she would be willing to figure out how to make the Holiday Mini Catalog Ornament Keepsakes Bundle projects shown on the cover and page 3, for our DOstamperSTARS Camp-a-Rama Event last month...she said, yes!

I just have to share this picture too...

How many Ornament Framelits does it take to get almost 50 people through the Ornament Make & Take Station?  LOTS!  Luckily - anyone who had one, brought it with them to the event.  Made for fast work at the Ornament Big Shot Make & Take Station!
