Control Freak Stampin' Up! Tour: Christmas Creations

Welcome to the Control Freaks November 2012 Tour (officially starts November 21st, but should be live by 8pm central time 11/20- so be sure to stop back to take the full tour). I actually made today's project back in August for my DOstamperSTARS Holiday Camp-a-Rama event.  I knew I'd be saving it to share for the Control Freak Christmas Tour, so here you go...    

It's a Season of Sweets Designer Kit Cards and Tag Ensemble

When I first saw the Season of Sweets Designer Kit in the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, I knew instantly I wanted to create something other than what it was originally designed for.  Stampin' Up! describes the kit as a "ideal package for cookies...or other festive treats".  Well, cards and tags are treats too, don't you think?

First off, here's what you get in the Season of Sweets Designer Kit (126912):
Includes 12 gusseted treat envelopes with window to display treat; 12 clear, food-safe cellophane bags; 30 clear stickers to secure cellophane bag and treat envelope flap; 2 12x12 sheets designer card stock stickers

Treat Envelope

The treat envelope is dressed up with Cherry Cobbler 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (127841) .  The tag was made with the Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003) and designer card stock stickers from the kit.  Easy and cute!!

3x3 Gift Enclosure Cards

Instead of adding cookies to the treat package, I added more tags and a couple of 3x3 cards.  The banner/flag down the center is designer card stock stickers, from the kit.  The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set punched with the Word Window Punch. The focal point features the following framelits:

• Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003) Cherry Cobbler
• Window Frames Framelits (129021) Garden Green
• Itty Bitty Banner Framelits (129267) Crumb Cake

Christmas Card 

Here is a matching 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card that repeats the design of the 3x3 cards.  The Cherry Cobbler background is from the Petals-a-Plenty Texture Impressions Embossing Folder (116824).
