  • First of all - I'm getting a kick out this super fun stamp set, Rev up the Fun!!
  • The Houndstooth Texture Impressions Embossing Folder is the perfect match for this stamp set.
  • The greeting is inked with markers - Basic Black & Summer Starfruit
  • Silver Mini Brads were added to the center of the tires

Simply Sketched, Shopping Spree Winners

I love my Stampin' Up! job!  I get to play with fun paper crafting products, give away shopping sprees and on occasion, be the recipient of some fabulous cards in the mail.

Today's card was created by one of my customers and shopping spree winner, Holly M. When I opened it, my jaw dropped.  It's stunning to say the least.  The watercoloring is simply gorgeous. Holly used the hostess set, Simply Sketched (129669w or 129672c). Which was one of her shopping spree choices.  I'd say she made a good choice!  Thank you for sharing your talent with me, Holly!

DOstamperSTARS Challenge: Autumn Accents

Today I'm sharing my take on this week's DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.  I took inspiration from the colors, Autumn Accents and peaceful feeling of the Home Sweet Home photo selection.

10-31 DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge - Home Sweet Home, Pottery Barn inspired

This new "Home Sweet Home" Thursday Challenge was selected by DOstamperSTAR Cindy Techlin.  I liked this challenge as there was a lot of things to be inspired about in this photo.  Just choose what inspires you and go for it! 

DOstamping, Dawn Olchefske, Stampin' Up! Autumn Accents Die, Greetings of the Season stamp set, Burlap Ribbon Acorn

Lots of little details going on in my focal point.  But I want to draw your attention to the pinecone/acorns.  Using the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, I cut 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon using the acorn image from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  TIP: Adhere the ribbon to Multipurpose Adhesive sheets before cutting.

I love the way the final project turned out.  It reflects the tone/mood I was going for.  I hope you enjoyed it.  For more interpretations of this week's Thursday Challenge, be sure to check these DOstamperSTARS creations:
