Dawn's Stamping Tips:

  • Stamp blender image once with Stazon Black
  • Stamp blender image again on a piece of scrap paper with Real Red
  • Cut out the red pieces and adhere to the black image
    • The "hearts" are cut just inside the "outline" of the blender and adhered with Snail Adhesive
    • The "buttons" are cut just outside the box outline and popped up with a Stampin' Dimensional
  • The banner greeting is just clipped on to the card
  • Stand back and admire your work!

Crazy, Mixed Up Love: Envelope Punch Board Mini Index Card

Here's a another peek at a Crazy, Mixed Up Love "free kit card" project, featuring the Envelope Punch Board.

That's right, the envelope punch board was used to create the "Mini Index Card" focal point.  I'm just giddy over the way it turned out!  Though I have to admit, there was lots of re-sizing, punching, trial & error to create just the perfect size "index card".  But it was worth it...don't you think?   Wanna learn how?  Check out my How'd She DO That video below.

Thursday Challenge DSC#066: Cool Kid

As soon as I saw the new Cool Kid stamp set from the Occasions Catalog, I immediately knew...I had to have it!  It's a perfect set for my cool grandkids, Max and Sam.  So for today's fun Color My World challenge, I made couple of cards for them.  They'll love receiving them in the mail - a fun surprise!

  • Stamp greeting on card in Baked Brown Sugar
  • Stamp again on scrap cardstock in Tangerine Tango and Coastal Cabana
  • Cut out letters and adhere with glue dots

  • These are 2-1/2" 2-1/4" squares
  • I mounted mine onto a piece of 7-1/2" 7-1/8"square Whisper White (for easy square alignment), then again onto a 9" square to fit my frame

Fresh Prints DSP Stack: Valentine Sampler

Woohoo - I met with my DOstamperSTARS downline on Friday and we had the best time stamping, sharing and swapping!  One of our swaps was Valentine themed "sampler squares" using Stampin' Up!'s new Fresh Prints Designer Paper.  I'm always so impressed with the what everyone comes up with.  I quickly put together my framed Valentine Sampler using only half of the swaps.  Still have plenty left to put second sample together.
