Control Freaks February Tour: Sweet Sorbet

For the greeting...

• It's stamped twice.  Once with Summer Starfruit on the inside of the card (stamped through the "window").  
• Then again with Pool Party on a scrap and just cut out the "happy".
• Attached to card with Stampin' Dimensionals

SAB Sweet Sorbet 

How cute is this?  The Easter Egg square came from one of the squares in my upcoming Springtime Seasonal Sampler Decor!

I was giddy when I remembered the Backyard Basics Framelits has an "egg shape".  Here's some tips:

• Cut a 2 eggs from the free Sale-a-Bration Sweet Sorbet DSP
• Cut grass with the new Fringe Scissors (from the Occasions Catalog)
• Assemble onto a piece of 2" square DSP
• Matte with 2-1/4"
• Add bow made with Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack Twine and Rhinestone
• Stand back and enjoy!

DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #070: Sweet Sorbet Birthday Sketch

Valentine's Day with the Boys!

We spent Valentine's Day with our grandson and enjoyed a little crafting with them too.  They each made a treat for their Mom and Dad.

It's nearly impossible to get a picture of them these days. I'm surprised I got four cute ones that weren't blurry...cuz they move fast!

Here are the details for Dawn's "Just Cards" Buffet TO GO Class:

1. You'll receive a variety of the card kits shown. You'll receive at least 5 or more different card kits, of which some you'll receive two of, for a total of 8 card kits. (Cards may not be hand selected, as they are packaged randomly.)  However, monthly subscribers will be guaranteed a full selection of card offerings.
2. Card kits include envelopes and the pre-cut card pieces and accessories for you to complete your card.  Adhesive is not included.
3. Details instructions are NOT provided.  Once the class is mailed to you, you will receive an email notice that will include the card kit PDF.  The PDF will include a photo and supply list for each card.  Be sure to save the PDF to your computer to assist you in completing your card.  If you need detailed instructions, this class may not meet your needs.
4. Die cutting and shape punching will be completed for you (without stamped images).  However, most border punching is NOT provided.
5. Texture embossing will be completed for you as well, except when stamping first is necessary. 
6. Stamped images are NOT included in the card kits.  This is in accordance with Stampin' Up! copyright/angel policy.   If you do not have a specific stamp set used for a card, you may purchase them in my online store or you can substitute like-size or styled images.

DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #069: Robot Punch Art Valentine

It's another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge!  This week it's a Color My World challenge.  Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Smokey Slate...just in time for Valentine's Day.

I already had a Valentine's Day card in mind for my grandsons that was inspired from a kids craft project I saw on Pinterest.  So I got out my Stampin' Up! punches, combined them with today's color combo and came up with two Robot Punch Art cards.  

The Pink Pirouette card turned out cute, but maybe just a little too girly for the boys.  Funny how just changing the pink to white - it changes the whole feel of the card and seems a little more manly!  See below for Robot "punch list" card.  As well as a How'd She DO That? video.

Easter Blessings, Happy Watercolor & Folded Window Card Video

I'm so ready for spring...how about you?  Well, I can't melt the snow here in MN, but I can share a card that will make you feel like spring is just around the corner.  The tulips from Stampin' Up!'s Easter Blessings stamp is just the thing!  Add it to a fun Folded Window Card and it should bring on a smile!

The "window fold" design of this card was shared wtih me by my friend, Kelly Acheson.  I totally fell in love with it and had to make one of my own.  In the video below, you'll see her "Gifts of Kindness" card, along with tips on how to separate the Easter Blessing stamp (at the end of the video).
