Today's is my daughter Angie's birthday. So we had the boys overnight this weekend, to give her a break and time for a date with her hubby, Brandon. The boys wanted to make her a birthday card, so we broke out the free Sale-A-Bration Heartfelt Banner Kit and started playing! Take a look at what we made:
The boys are lovin' the new classroom! They have tons of room to stamp and have made themselves at home.
The "felt balls" you see are from the free Sale-a-Bration Heartfelt Banner kit. We cut them in half and glued them to the center of the punched out flowers, Fancy Flower punch (118073) and Pansy Flower punch (130698). TIP: It needed lots of Liquid Glue (110755) to adhere the felt ball.
Sam: "Look what I made!" (FYI: The flower stem is a "lollipop stick". I found them at a craft store in the DIY candy section)
Colors used for these cards - Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (free SAB Choice), Pear Pizzazz, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White
Didn't they turn out just right? Mom thought so too!
So if you overlooked the Heartfelt Banner Kit, give it a second look, as there are other things you can use the kit for...cards, pouches, tags and more! In fact - my last Sale-a-Bration Inspiration Newsletter that I just published shows you 2 more ideas for the Heartfelt Banner. Join my newsletter list.
