It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.! This week it's a Home Sweet Home Challenge.
Don't recognize the decorative border? It's leftover pieces from the Lattice Bigz Die. I've been wanting to create something using those pieces. So, when I first saw this week's DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge, I immediately thought of my favorite Lattice Bigz Die and away I went. The only sad thing is... it's on the retirred list. So you'll want to get yours today before it's gone.
Dawn's Folded Edge Cardmaking Tips
- Fold card base in half, then score 1" from open side and fold back.
- Stamp the Hostess Simply Sketched "leaf" image a couple times coming out from just underneath the folded edge (Early Espresso)
- Attach Quantrafancy "window sheet" DSP under the folded edge with Sticky Strip
- Adhere folded edge down over the window sheet with Sticky Strip
- Tie Baker's Twine around card
- Stamp greeting, then "leaf" image (stamped off several times), punch and adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals
- Cut off "prongs" of the Antique Brad and adhere with Stampin' Dimensional
- Stand back and admire!
