Vivid Vases and Blendabilities
This card was one of my Stamping Club cards. I never really got a chance to play with the Vivid Vases stamp set, so I was happy to see that it carried over to the 2014/2015 Annual Catalog. It's perfect for coloring with Stampin' Blendabilities. Especially if you're just learning how to use them. With only two colors sets, Coastal Cabana & Daffodil Delight (I used the light and medium markers) - I quickly achieved a fun, summery look.
Even colored the Rhinestone Basic Jewel with the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities Marker. The perfect touch!

Ornamental Pines - QC Card (Quick & Easy!)
My 2nd card features a new stamp set Ornamental Pines (2014 Holiday Catalog - starts 8/28). I literally whipped this card out just minutes before the blog tour started. Luckily I had something in my head and it translated to cardstock just perfectly. That doesn't always happen, but when it does...it feels like magic! I love, love, love the way it turned out. What do you think? I think I'll be using it for upcoming card classes and more!
NOTE: If you have more time, you could even Gold Emboss the pinecone. Wouldn't that look beautiful?
Dawn's Stamping Tip
- Stamp Very Vanilla pieces (2-1/2" x 4" AND 4" x 5-1/4") at the same time (small piece resting on top of the larger piece).
- You'll get a "gap" where there isn't any stamping. No problem - the additional layer (2-3/4 x 4-1/4") will cover that up.
