DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #096: Santa Stache

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge!  This week it's a Color challenge. 

What a fun color challenge!  When the STARS got a look at this week's challenge, all sorts of ideas popped into our head...Mickey Mouse, race cars, back to school, motorcyle, etc.  It will be fun to see what they actually come up with.  I'm posting mine early due to my schedule today.  But I'll add the STARS links as they post, so be sure to stop back tomorrow for the final list.

Here's mine...

I really wanted to use a new stamp set from the 2014 Holiday Catalog (since today is the first day).  I thought I might have to really stretch my creative muscles for this color combo and the upcoming holidays.  But I think I found the perfect match, the nutcracker image from the new stamp set Santa Stache.   

I decided to keep the card clean & simple (CAS) to let the nutcracker image shine on it's own.  The new Blendabilities Markers made this an easy image to color.  

• Daffodil Delight Blendabilities (Dark)
• Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities (Light)
• Smoky Slate Blendabilities (Light)

Also - did you notice?  The mustache is cut with a matching Mustache Framelit found in the 2014/15 Annual Catalog.  So much fun!
