2014 Founder's Circle Retreat: Home for the Holidays

Last week I enjoyed a fabulous Founder's Circle Retreat in St. George, UT.  This is Stampin' Up!'s recognition for their top demonstrators. It's something I work for every year and hope that I've done enough to earn it.  I've been incredibly blessed to earn it for the past 7 years, thanks to my customers, club members and DOstamperSTARS!

This year's theme was "Home for the Holidays". They did an excellent job pampering us, that started with our travel documents and continued along with a decked out "gathering place", aka "Holiday Lodge", that put us in the holiday spirit (along with holiday music playing in the background to complete the scene). 

Our first activity was to find our "team" and build a gingerbread house...what fun!  I was with the snowflakes.  

Then we enjoyed a welcome dinner and beautifully decorated tables (they always to a fabulous job!)

On Thursday, after a day of chatting and stamping, the evening ended with a PJ party, business sharing, swapping and more!

On Friday, we spent the day touring the Kanab manufacturing facility.  One of my favorite parts of tour this year was seeing the new photopolymer stamp process...very interesting!

 

Another one of my favorites at Kanab is to get my annual photo with Shelli.

We even got to craft in the warehouse.  Can't beat that!

 That evening ended with dinner with my pals, Barb and Kelly!

The last day, we found ourselves creating decorations for trees that will be auctioned off at a Festival of Trees event later this year.  Here's what we created...

They were a little tedious at first.  But once we got into our rythm, we cranked out 20 of these in no time at all (both front and back were decorated!)

The evening ended with a holiday turkey dinner and a white elephant gift game.  Lots of fun and yummy food too.

Thanks to all the staff who work so hard on this event.  It was a huge success and one of my favorite Founder's Circle events!
