11 More Milwaukee On Stage Shoebox Swap Samples

Here's the last of the cards from the shoebox swap event I held with my DOstamperSTARS team at the Stampin' Up! Milwaukee On Stage event.  We teamed up with my friend and fellow demonstrator Susan Campfield's team for a fabulous swapping & pizza event.  Here's some of our swaps.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As usual, we had the best time stamping, eating, chatting and getting to know each other.  I'm also looking forward to seeing more STARS at the next Stampin' Up! On Stage event in Salt Lake City in April 2016.  I know we'll be swapping there too!

I'm Wild About Flowers!

I hosted a shoebox swap while at the Milwaukee Stampin' Up! On Stage event last month.  The event was for my team and we invited my friend and fellow demonstrator Susan Campfield and her team to join us!  It's always fun when you get a chance to make other people's cards - allows you to spread your stamping wings and gives you a chance to see how other people design and put their cards together.  I still learn a trick or two whenever I attend one.

The only thing "bad" about a shoebox swap is, I don't always know who's card I made.  Like this one, which uses my favorite stamp set, Wild About Flowers (it's definitely a must-have stamp set!).   If this is your card, please let me know and I'd be happy to give you credit.  (This card was created by Anita Dickson)

4-1/4" Square Wild About Flowers Window Card Tips:

• 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" Pacific Point card base (fold in half)
• Cut out window with Circle Framelit (use 7th one from the center)
• 8" x 4" Whisper White inside panel (fold in half)
• Stamp images on front of white panel
• Add Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers with glue pen)
• Adhere back of white panel to the inside of the card back
• Tie Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon around the front of card (both white and Pacific Point pieces)
• Fits in Medium Envelope

Masculine Cards: Go Wild, Wilderness Awaits and No Bones About it!

Control Freaks Tour October 2015: Remarkable You

Welcome to the Control Freaks October 2015. We are thrilled to have you join us today (we'll be fully-live by 10/20). Our tour features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, you may have just come from the ever-talented Julie Davison's blog.

Remarkable You Gift Card Set

Ever since the Annual Catalog came out, I've been eyeing the beautiful floral stamp set, Remarkable You.  Remarkable flowers are for remarkable people. These big, bold flowers send a clear message of thanks and gratitude...perfect for Something to be Thankful For!

 

All three cards use the same size cardstock and supplies (with the exception of color, of course).  Here's what you'll need for this

2-Layer version of Triple Time Stamping Technique

• Temporarily attach 4" x 2-3/4" to 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Shimmery White cardstock
• Stamp images with Stazon Jet Black ink
• Color images with various ink using an Aqua Painter
• Pull-apart the layers.  Adhere the small panel to 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock
• Fold 1" Basic Black circle in half and adhere to side of card
• Fold 1-1/2" piece of ribbon in half and adhere to back side of circle
• Use Handheld stapler to staple 6" piece of Basic Black Baker's Twine, then tie in a bow.
• Adhere completed layer to larger stamped panel with Stampin' Dimensionals; take care to line up images.
• Adhere to folded 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base
• Enjoy!

Note:  Shimmery White cardstock works best for these cards, as it will hold up well when using the Aqua Painter.

 

I couldn't decide which image was my favorite.  So I wrapped all three up in a Sketched Dots Tag A Bag Gift Bag with a 2" strip of Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper, tied off with Basic Black 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.  Now they are ready for someone I'm thankful for!

(Cards may not be hand selected, as they are packaged randomly.)  However, monthly subscribers will be guaranteed a full selection of all 7 card offerings (the 8th will be a duplicate of one).
2. Card kits include envelopes and the pre-cut card pieces and accessories for you to complete your card.  Adhesive is not included.
3. Details instructions are not provided.  Once the class is mailed to you, you will receive an email notice that will include the card kit PDF. The PDF will include a photo and supply list for each card, as well as instructional tips.  Be sure to save the PDF to your computer to assist you in completing your card.  If you need detailed instructions, this class may not meet your needs.
4. Die cutting and shape punching will be completed for you (without stamped images).  However, most border punching is NOT provided.
5. Texture embossing will be completed for you as well, except when stamping first is necessary.

Just Cards TO GO Sneak Peek: Merry Moments Poinsettia Punch Art Card

My Just Cards TO GO class will be ready to purchase on Friday and I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at one of the cards that was a hit at my local Card Buffet class. (Yes, I hold a local version of this class on the last Tuesday of each month.  If you're in the Maple Grove, Plymouth, MN area - you're welcome to attend my next class on October 27th)

I couldn't decide which side of the Merry Moments Paper Stack I liked, so I made them both!
