Today I'm sharing a couple of cards created by DOstamperSTAR Peggy Goetzke. She's one of my "long distance" STARS, meaning she's not from the Twin Cities area. Well over 70% of the STARS are not local to me, they are located all over the US.
So how do we stay connected? Good question. Two ways...
- Facebook (our private DOstamperSTARS group is a favorite place to "hangout") - we just had a fun STARS Virtual Gathering last night with games, prizes, creative and business sharing!!
- Swap opportunities.
Whether near or far - all STARS can participate in one of the most favorite activities of a Stampin' Up! demonstrator...swapping! Peggy's swap cards caught my attention in our last round of swapping and I'm showcasing them today. Meet Peggy G...
I'm Peggy Goetzke from IA. As soon as I saw a catalog I was hooked. Best thing is immediate gratification unlike needlework, etc. It can also be done anytime (no weather problems), no need for special clothes., etc.
I've been a demonstrator for 19 years. I do a few craft shows, classes, and have had a monthly group. My gals have been with me for years and by far, most want cards. They are advanced stampers. Though, I'd like to get into scrapbooking more, as I have 50 years of things to record. I always want to do more, but..I have a young enthusiastic mind trapped in a old body and run out of energy too quickly.
My absolute favorite thing is learning everything new. When the Big Shot came out it was one thing I was sure I did not need. How wrong I was. I also enjoy meeting other demonstrators and sharing ideas, support, questions, etc. I can’t say enough good things about my upline (Dawn), who does an awesome job supporting her downline. I like meeting other STARS and sharing with them on our Facebook community, etc, Meeting fellow STAR Bobbi was a real gift! We’re stamping BFF’s now.
