DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #142: NEW Wonderland

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.  This week we're having a Sketch challenge.

I waited until the last minute to make today's card.  Why?  Because I knew I had Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog products being delivered today and I thought it would be fun to use something new!

I never thought I would make a black & white Christmas Card, but this card is stunning (in person).  With the sketch, it came together really fast.  Which is good, as my UPS man came just a couple hours ago! 

Here's a closer look as it's hard to see...there is Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the trees and snowflakes.  It really help sets the mood of the card.  I'm very happy with the way it turned out.  What do you think?

Summer Silhouettes Control Freak Convention Swap

This was one of my Control Freak convention swaps, as well as a card I offered at my Card Buffet last night (a huge hit!).  Actually at first, my gals were a little afraid to make this card, but once I offered assurances that it really is easy to make, they all dived right in.  It's actually the sponging that creates the dramatic results (done after stamping, but before adding glitter)

Clear Case Card Set

 

This was the 3D swap/gift I made for my STARS Team at convention.  It's a Clear Case Card Set that holds six cards and envelopes.  A perfect gift for anyone.  I think I'm gonna make up a few of these to keep on hand for last-minute gifts.  

I used the new Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper.  But any of Stampin' Up! DSP packs would be nice.  In fact - I used the English Garden (138440) and Timeless Elegance (138444) for the actual swap.  But I forgot to take pictures.

QC Card: You've Got This Convention Swap

I haven't done a QC card share (quick & cute) in awhile.  So I thought I share one of the favorites from my Card Buffet class this past month, using the new You've Got This stamp set. 

 Take a closer look and you'll see I used the Handheld Stapler again...one of my favorite tools! 

Not only was it my card buffet ladies favorites, but mine too.  So much so, I made 80 of them!  Yep...it's one of my swaps for the Stampin' Up! Annual Convention starting tomorrow.  I'm flying my way to Salt Lake City today.  Looking forward to seeing my DOstamperSTARS team members and the many friends I'm made since joining Stampin' Up! over 12 years ago.  I'll share as much as I can while I'm gone and more when I get back.

Note Tag Punch Trick: Merry Everything Bundle - Save 15%
