How to get a catalog...

• If you're a customer of mine and you're wondering if your copy is coming - feel free to email me and I'll check to make sure you are on my list.
• If you don't have a demonstrator yet, just place an order in my online store and I will send you both the Annual Catalog and the Holiday.
• If you have a demonstrator, please contact them for your copy of the Holiday Catalog.

Here are the details for Dawn's "Just Cards" Buffet TO GO Class:

1. You'll receive a variety of the card kits shown. You'll receive at least 5 or more different card kits, of which some you'll receive two of, for a total of 8 card kits. (Cards may not be hand selected, as they are packaged randomly.)  However, monthly subscribers will be guaranteed a full selection of all 7 card offerings (the 8th will be a duplicate of one).
2. Card kits include envelopes and the pre-cut card pieces and accessories for you to complete your card.  Adhesive is not included.
3. Details instructions are NOT provided.  Once the class is mailed to you, you will receive an email notice that will include the card kit PDF. The PDF will include a photo and supply list for each card.  Be sure to save the PDF to your computer to assist you in completing your card.  If you need detailed instructions, this class may not meet your needs.
4. Die cutting and shape punching will be completed for you (without stamped images).  However, most border punching is NOT provided.
5. Texture embossing will be completed for you as well, except when stamping first is necessary. 
6. Stamped images are NOT included in the card kits.  This is in accordance with Stampin' Up! copyright/angel policy.   If you do not have a specific stamp set used for a card, you may purchase them in my online store or you can substitute like-size or styled images.

DOstamperSTARS Challenge #144: Pretty Petals Endless Thanks & Blog Candy!

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.  This week we're having a Color challenge. Plus I'm doing some personal celebrating today.  Two reasons, 1) It's my birthday!! and 2) last month I reached my $700k sales milestone with Stampin' Up!.  Woohoo for me!  And woohoo for you, as I'm offering Blog Candy today!.  See below for details.

 

When I saw this week's color combo, I immediately thought of the new Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.  It's one of my favorite papers this year and I was excited to use it for today's card.  

 

I wanted to be able to showcase several of these lovely patterns, so here's what I did:

• Punch (9) 1" squares of Pretty Petals DSP Stack
• Adhere squares to a piece of 3-1/4" square Very Vanilla cardstock
• Adhere that to a piece of 3-1/2" square Basic Black cardstock
• Adhere to 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Calypso Coral card with Stampin' Dimensionals
• See it in action with my How'd She DO That? video

I also noticed how nicely it pairs with the new Endless Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set and used it to create the medallion as follows:

• Stamp flower in Calypso Coral ink
• Stamp greeting in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
• Stamp leaves in Old Olive ink (I did this last, so I could position the leaves in within the greeting area)
• Punch with Label Bracket
• Punch Banner(s) in Old Olive and Basic Black and adhere to back of punch out.
• Staple piece of Basic Black Bakers Twine and tie in a bow
• Adhere Rhinestone Jewel to flower center

I love the way this card turned out.  It's my virtual "Thank You Card" to all of my fabulous customers who help me achieve my goals and give me the ability to do this kind of work.  Something I never considered that I could ever make a living from...doing something I love and sharing it with you!  THANK YOU!

Thanks a Latte Alternative Ideas - Dawn O

If you find yourself not needing nine of the same card, or you have extra supplies leftover, here is another idea inspiration.

Note Card Gift Pack

Crumb Cake Envelope with Belly Band:

1. Stamp images on Crumb Cake Envelopes flap.
2. Create belly band:  Wrap strip of 1" x 11" Tangelo Twist cardstock around envelope (not too tight).  Adhere in back. 
3. Stamp cup image on cup die cut from kit.  Position on belly band, but don't adhere.  First stamp "steam" on to belly band just above cup.  Then adhere cup with Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Punch Itty Bitty Accents flower shape in Tangelo Twist and Cucumber Crush.  Adhere together and to cup with Mini Glue Dots.
5. Adhere Rhinestone Basic Jewels Embellishment to center of flower.
6. Enjoy!
