I have the cutest little treat pouch to share with you today AND a How'd She DO That? video too! 

Cherry Lollies Treat Pouch

These treats pouches were a little gift for my downline and friends at the April 2016 On Stage event a few weeks ago.  I've had the Cherry Lollies for several month and haven't had a chance to make anything with them yet.  I knew I'd pair them with the Apple of My Eye stamp set (retiring May 31st).  But wasn't sure exactly what I would make with them.  The pouch idea came together the night before I left, at midnight (that's when I do my best work - ha!).  Luckily there wasn't too much trial and error with measuring and in no time at all, I cranked out ten cute little Cherry Lollies Treat Pouches.   They were a big hit!

Oh my gosh...wasn't that cute?!  I also envisioned treat pouches for jellied fruit slices...that would be cute too!  Great for Mother's Day, co-worker treats, year-end treats for teachers and coaches, and more.  Have fun making your own treat pouches.

DOstamperSTARS Challenge #178: Affectionately Yours Sneak Peek

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.  This week we're having a "Sketch" challenge. 

When I saw this week's sketch it reminded me of one of the make and takes we made at On Stage a couple of weeks ago.  I thought maybe I would cheat and post that card, but I decided I should probably create my own take on the sketch with some new products, using the brand new Affectionately Yours Suite!

I'm totally in love with the Affectionately Yours Suite coming soon in the new 2016/2017 Annual Catalog.  Stampin' Up! did an awesome job coordinating a variety of products for this collection.  Here's what's new, coming June 1st!

• 141545 Love & Affection stamp set
• 141632 Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper
• 141713 Floral Affection Texture Impressions Embossing Folder (two "mini" folders!)
• 141662 Cucumber Crush Thick Baker's Twine

Here's the card details in Five Easy Steps:

1. Adhere 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Affectionately Yours paper to folded 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
2. Wrap Cucumber Crush Thick Baker's Twine around card front and tie in a bow
3. Stamp greeting (Night of Navy) on 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Run stamped panel through Big Shot with Floral Affection TIEF, and stamp leaves (Night of Navy) and mini flowers (Daffodil Delight).  Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals
4. Create flowers (Pansy Punch [130698] with Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush, Petite Petals Punch [133322] with Daffodil Delight). Stamp flower centers (Night of Navy) and adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Attached Rhinestone Jewels and enjoy!!

Don't you just love that new Floral Affection Texture Impressions Embossing Folder?  I was giddy about it when I saw it in the catalog and was even more excited that I was able to order it right there at On Stage - woohoo!

On Stage Sneak Peek: Foxy Friends, 2016-18 In Colors

I got back from the April 2016 Stampin' Up! On Stage event and started to wade through my photos.  Yikes, I had taken over 800 photos.  After whittling them done to around the 550 range, I shared them with my DOstamperSTARS this past weekend.  One of my STARS, Elizabeth said..."I almost feel like I got to go with you!"  As you might imagine, everyone was very excited!  Now I'm going through them again and will be sharing some of my favorites with you throughout the coming weeks. 

The event started out with a bang and fun band to get us in the party mood.  Then moved right into new product demonstrations...our favorite!!   For today, here's a sneak peek at some new products...the 2016-2018 In Colors and the super duper cuuute Foxy Friends Bundle!  These products will be available starting June 1st.

CenterStage Event for Leaders 

Stampin' Up! treated Leaders to a fancy dinner and entertainment on the first night.  They were an interactive all-request dueling pianos act and they were incredibly entertaining!  I used to play piano (and used to be pretty good at it - a little trivia about me!), so I thoroughly enjoyed their piano stylings!

Yum!  Stampin' Up! always puts on good show for us!

Shelli & Sara

At the final session we were treated to Shelli and Sara stamping together again!  I always enjoy their combined presentations.  It just brings a smile to my face.  Probably because it brings smiles (and grimaces) to their faces too.  You can tell that they are having a good time.  Great way to end the event!

DOstamperSTARS Challenge #177: Have a Cuppa Mother's Day Card

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge.  This week we're having a "Color My World" challenge. 

What a sweet color combo we have to play with this week!  I wanted to do a Mother's Day card with the Have a Cuppa Collection of products.  Luckily, there was a couple sheets of Wisteria Wonder pattern paper in the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack.

5-step Have a Cuppa card details:

1. Punch 2" x 5" piece of Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack (retiring) with Banner Triple Punch
2. Adhere banner to 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock, then adhere to folded 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock
3. Die cut 3" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock with large cup from Cups & Kettle Framelits (retiring).  Stamp greeting from A Nice Cuppa stamp set with Wisteria Wonder ink. 
4. Thread a Have a Cuppa Embellishment (retiring) onto 10" piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine and tie around cup handle.  Adhere cup to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Punch two Petite Petals flowers (Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz cut in half).  Punch Wisteria Wonder flower from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (retiring).  Adhere flowers together with Glue Dots.  Attached Neutral Candy Dot in flower center.  Adhere completed flower to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
6. Give to someone special in your life!

This card is going to my daughter for Mother's Day.  I think she'll like it, especially the spoon charm from the Have A Cuppa Embellishments .  They are the perfect finishing touch!

Ladies: First Sight

I'm so going to miss the soon-to-be-retired 1" Dotted Lace Trim, that I just had to use it on my Ladies card.  I paired it with the Occasions Catalog stamp set, First Sight.  

To You From Me card details:

• Stamp the swirly image three times with Mint Macaron ink into 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White.  Adhere to folded 11 x 4-1/4" piece of Mint Macaron cardstock.
• Wrap 14" of Mint Macaron 1" Dotted Lace Trim (retiring) around front of card and tie in knot.
• Stamp greeting (from And Many More - retiring) on Whisper White scrap, punch with Word Window (retiring).  Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals
• Cut strips of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, adhere just under greeting
• Punch flower using Itty Bitty Accents punch (retiring) with Watermelon Wonder cardstock.  
• Attach Candy Dots Neutral (retiring).  Adhere flower with Glue Dots
• Enjoy!

Gentlemen: Going Global

For my gentlemen card, I naturally reached for the Occasions Catalog stamp set, Going Global.

World's Best Dad card details:

• Adhere 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack (retiring) to folded 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Adhere 3/4" x 4-1/4" strip of Basic Black cardstock.  Attach Candy Dots Neutral (retiring).
• Stamp "compass" image with Basic Black Archival ink onto 3" x 2-1/2" scrap of Delightful Dijon.  Die Cut with smallest Deco Label Framelits (retiring). 
• Stamp greeting onto 1/2" x 3" strip of Very Vanilla.  Use scissors to "flag" each end.  Adhere to compass.
• Use Handheld Stapler to attach 10" piece of Basic Black Baker's Twine and tie in a bow.
• Punch Silver Glimmer Paper star with Itty Bitty Accents Punch (retiring), and adhere.
• Adhere completed Deco Label die cut with Stampin' Dimensionals
• Enjoy!

You can easily change out the greeting and send it to all the gentlemen in your life!
