DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #209: Warmth & Cheer Last Minute Holiday Card
December 07, 2016
It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Home Sweet Home" challenge.
Recently I held my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack Class. As I was preparing for the class, I came across a card on Pinterest (by Rhonda Macpherson) and immediately knew it would be perfect for the class. Then as I looked at it some more, it's also perfect for today's photo inspiration...don't you think?
Quick & Cute Warmth & Cheer Star card
- Adhere ribbon strips to folded Cherry Cobbler 11" x 4-1/4" card base (3" Burlap ribbon, 3-1/2" & Gold Natural Trim) - using SNAIL or Glue Dots
- Die cut 3rd largest star from Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack using Star Framelit Dies. Adhere over ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp greeting (from Oh, What Fun stamp set) on Whisper White cardstock with Cherry Cobbler ink (I did mount the image to the block in a slight curve fashion). Cut with Duet Banner Punch. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals
You can get 4 stars out of each 6x6 piece of Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack. Timesaving Tip: as this paper is thinner than cardstock, I was able to cut 3 sheets at a time. Cutting 12 stars in no time at all...yay!
This is a perfect last-minute holiday cards, which I need a few of...off to make more!
Enjoy~Dawn O
