Greetings From Santa: Candy Jar

I haven't been doing much shopping yet, as I can only tolerate it for a short time with my knee replacement. But I needed to get some ink for my printer. So off to the office store, where I discovered small old fashion style canning jars. I can't resist unique styled jars. Plus the lids were different colors...fun! I knew I could find a use for them and here's what I came up with using the Jolly Hat Builder Punch and Greetings From Santa stamp set.
Greetings From Santa Candy Jar
- Stamp greeting (from Greetings From Santa stamp set) with Real Red ink on scrap of Whisper White. Cut with 2" Circle Punch.
- Create Santa hat using Jolly Hat Builder Punch, Real Red cardstock and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (and glue dots).
- Adhere hat to circle with Stampin' Dimensionals, then adhere completed circle to jar lid with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Wrap Candy Candy Lane Baker's Twine around lid and tie in a bow.
- Fill jar with candy. I used five Lindt Lindor Truffles (my favorite holiday candy!)
I found the jars at my local Office Max...on clearance.
How cute did these turn out...super cute!! They are perfect for gifts for your hairdresser, postal carrier, co-workers and more!
