DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #235: Background Bits Host Set

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Sketch Pad" challenge.
In keep with We Heart Hosts Week, I chose to feature the Background Bits host set...yours free with a $150 or more order! At first glance, this set probably wouldn't have been my first choice to use with today's sketch. But after playing with a few of the images, the card came together really fast. Take a look...
Background Bits Quick & Cute card
- Stamp border & greeting images with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on 4" x 5-1/4" Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. Wrap new Basic Black 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon around panel and tie in a knot.
- Ink up multi-floral image with Lemon Lime Twist ink, then use Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color stem. Breathe on stamp to moisten and stamp on 2-3/8" Whisper White Stitched Shape Framelit circle.
- Stamp mini flower-burst images several times with Lemon Lime Twist ink on 1-7/8" Whisper White Stitched Shape Framelit circle. Use Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add a "dot" to the center of each image.
- Adhere both circles to card. The larger one with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then adhere completed panel to folded 4-1/4" x 11" Lemon Lime Twist card base.
- Adhere Metallic Sequins Assortment with Mini Glue Dots (or Fine Tip Glue Pen)
I know it's hard to see the beautiful shimmer of the new Basic Black 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon. You'll have to trust me...it's gorgeous!
The delicate floral themes of the Background Bits Stamp Set lends itself to elegant cards and projects. Perfect whether the stamps create your background, your focal point, or anything else. However, you can change the feel of this host set by selecting fun colors like Lemon Lime Twist!
