Two For Tuesday: Text Ya Later

It's Two For Tuesday (TFT) again, where I share a quick & easy card, along with a stepped up version.

Today features the trendy Text Ya Later Stamp Set. Let your creativity run wild with this one. Keep it simple, or add a little sass! Perfect for today's Two For Tuesday share!

Text Ya Later Quick & Easy card

Run 4" x 5-1/4" Berry Burst cardstock through Big Shot with Polka Dot Basics Texture Impressions Embossing Folder. Then adhere to folded 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" Thick Whisper White card base.
Wrap Emerald Envy Crinkled Seam Binding around 4" x 3-1/8" Emerald Envy cardstock. Tie off with a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine. Adhere to card at a slight angle.
Stamp "screen" image (Text Ya Later stamp set) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Whisper White cardstock. Stamp messages & bubbles with Emerald Envy & Berry Burst ink. Use Paper Snips to cut screen image and adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Take your card to the next level by adding a Embossing Paste background and a Window Sheet cover over the screen image for a more realistic look!

Text Ya Later Step-Up card

Add texture to 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" Berry Burst cardstock by spreading Embossing Paste over Pattern Party Decorative Mask with Palette Knives. Let dry. Then adhere to folded 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" Thick Whisper White card base.
Use scissors to rough up the edges of a 4" x 3-1/8" Emerald Envy cardstock. Wrap Emerald Envy Crinkled Seam Binding this panel and tie off with a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine. Adhere to card at a slight angle.
Ink up "screen" image with Versamark ink, then with Memento Tuxedo Black ink...then stamp on Thick Whisper White cardstock. Cover with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder and melt with Heat Tool. Use Paper Snips to trim image.
Stamp "bubbles" with black ink, messages & shadows with Emerald Envy & Berry Burst ink. Use Aqua Painter & Berry Burst ink to color in top and bottom "boxes" of screen. Then cover with Clear Wink of Stella.
Adhere 2-3/4" x 3-5/8" Window Sheet with just a couple of Glue Dots. Then hide them with Metallic Sequin Assortment adhered with Glue Dots

Sneak Peek: Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies (coming in August)

As a Minnesota gal, the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies are a must for me as they include a deer and two tree images to choose from, as well as 8 other shapes for the holidays. (My official "measurement" graphic will be available in August for you.)

As many of you know...I'm currently on the trek home from the Stampin' Up! Thailand Incentive Trip. It will take a couple of travel days and I plan to be back in my office on Wednesday. I brought a few treats for some of my international friends, a little "sweet" from Minnesota...Nut Goodie. Of course I needed to package them up in a special way and here's what I came up with using the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies.

Minnesota Hello Candy Slider

Score 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Garden Green cardstock at 1/2" and 4". Fold on score lines. Place Tear & Tape adhesive along 1/2" edge
Before assembling...adhere 2" x 8" strip of Be Merry Designer Series Paper to scored piece (not over the Tear & Tape).
Refold and place another strip of Tear & Tape adhesive one of the "bottom" 4" sections (this will secure the bottom of the package). Adhere edges together, them bottom.
Cut a hole at the top of the package using 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch. NOTE: punch through both sides.
Wrap about 24" of 3/8" Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon around candy (from top to bottom and back up) and slide into the card sleeve. Thread "back" ribbon through back hole and "front" ribbon through front hole and tie together in a bow.
To open: pull up on the ribbon and the candy slides out...yum!

2-3/8" Whisper White Circle = Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
Garden Green Tree & Early Espresso deer = Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies
Stamp "hello" with Soft Suede ink = Thoughtful Banners stamp set
Stamp "Minnesota" with Soft Suede ink on 1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Crumb Cake = Labeler Alphabet stamp set (trim banner ends and adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals)
Stamp "friend" with Soft Suede ink on 1-1/4" x 3/8" piece of Crumb Cake = Thoughtful Banners stamp set (punch 1/16" hole, thread Linen Thread through hole, wrap onto ribbon and tie in a bow)

Coffee Break Suite Week...Embossing Paste Frosted Cupcake

Coffee Break Suite Week ends with another non-coffee card...a birthday cupcake.

Whip up an Embossing Paste frosted cupcake in no time at all with today's super cute & colorful card!

Frosted Cupcake Birthday card

Wrap 1/4" Pumpkin Pie Stitched Edge Ribbon around 5-1/2" x 4" Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper (chevron pattern).
Die cut 2-7/8" Lemon Lime Twist Stitched Shapes Circle. Run through Big Shot with Oh My Stars Texture Impressions Embossing Folder. Adhere over ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Soft Sky card base.
Create cupcake:
1. Die cut cupcake shape (Coffee Cups Framelit Dies) from Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper stripe pattern).
2. Create frosting by spreading Embossing paste on Whisper White scrap. Let dry, then die cut with "frosting" shape.
3. Stamp greeting (Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set) with Pumpkin Pie ink on 3/8" x 2-1/8" piece of Whisper White. Cut a banner on the left side. Roll the right edge onto a toothpick and adhere with a glue dot. Punch 1/8" hole into frosting and insert toothpick banner. Cut off any excess toothpick.
4. Assemble cupcake with Stampin' Dimensionals onto stitched circle.
Attach heart from Brights Enamel Shapes.

Coffee Break Suite Week: Coffee Cup Sticky Notepad & Pen Gift Set

For today's Coffee Break Suite Week share, I have a quick & cute Coffee Cup Sticky Notepad & Pen Gift Set.

If you're anything like me, you're always on the lookout for notepads, magnets, pens, etc. that coordinate with Stampin' Up! products. While shopping at Walmart a few weeks ago (in the office supplies or school supplies sections), I came across a coffee cup shaped sticky notepad. I snatched it up quickly, as I knew I'd find just the right way to decorate it with the new Coffee Break Suite products. Check it out...

If you saw yesterday's Coffee Break sketch card, I mentioned to save the leftover DSP pieces. That's what I used to create the "wrap" for this sticky notepad. If not - I'll provide the measurements below.

Coffee Cup Sticky Notepad & Pen Gift Set

Adhere 3/4" x 8" strip of wood grain pattern DSP to the center of 2" x 8" piece of "coffee rings" DSP (in place of the "leftovers" from yesterday's card). Wrap around coffee cup sticky notepad and adhere together in the back.
Wrap 3/8" Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon around "wrap" and tie in a bow.
Ink up the word "friend" with Early Espresso ink (from one of the greetings found in the Coffee Cafe stamp set). Stamp on 1/2" x 2-1/4" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Trim right edge into a banner shape. Cut a hole with 1/8" handheld circle punch.
Stamp "wood grain heart" with Crumb Cake ink on scrap of Whisper White. Die cut with small tag share from Coffee Cup Framelits Dies.
Thread a piece of Linen Thread through holes in "friend banner", Corrugated Elements tag & heart tag. Wrap around ribbon and tie in a bow.
For pen: Curl a 4" x 1-3/4" piece of "coffee bean" pattern DSP (this will make it easier to adhere to the pen). Add Tear & Tape adhesive to both of the 4" edges (backside of DSP). Adhere one edge to the pen and then tightly wrap the rest of the DSP around the pen to adhere the opposite edge. Burnish firmly so adhesive stays nicely. Tuck completed pen under ribbon on the notepad.

The Coffee Break Designer Series Paper is a perfect compliment for this fun sticky notepad.

DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #239: Coffee Break Designer Series Paper

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Sketch Pad" challenge.

In staying with Coffee Break Suite Week, I naturally selected the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper for this week's sketch.

Happiness is...Coffee card

From Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, cut a 2" x 12" strip from the "coffee rings" pattern and 3/4" x 12" strip from the "woodgrain" pattern. Aligning from the left side of the folded 4-1/4" x 11" Pear Pizzazz card base, adhere the wider strip first - at an angle. Trim off right edge (and save for Friday's project). Then adhere narrower strip at the same angle - overlapping the first strip about 1/2". Trim of right edge (and save for Friday's project).
Create greeting by masking off the lower half of the stamp (Coffee Cafe stamp set) with a sticky note. Ink up top half with Pear Pizzazz ink. Remove sticky note. Use Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to color the word "coffee". Then stamp on a 3-1/2" square piece of Whisper White cardstock. Die cut with 2-1/2" wide heart from Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Cut a few leaves out of the Garden Green leave/beans DSP pattern and adhere under left side of heart with Glue Dots
Fold in half 6-1/2" of 3/8" Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon. Tie two strands of Linen Thread around the ribbon (near the top) and tie in a bow. Adhere to card with Glue Dots.
Place Metallic Enamel Shape in lower right corner (gold heart).

Coffee Break Suite Week: Coffee Pun Cards with Gift Box

Today's Coffee Break Suite Week project is a fun set of Mini Coffee Cards with Gift Box. These cards will bring a smile to any coffee lover with their clever coffee pun sentiments. Check it out...

3" x 3" Coffee Pun Cards

card bases = "3 x 6" (Whisper White Thick) - fold in half
mats= 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Soft Sky), 3" x 2-1/4" (Pear Pizzazz)
Coffee Break Designer Series Paper = various sizes (2-3/4" square, 2-1/2" square, 3" x 2"). Die cut a variety of the small coffee cups using the matching shape from Coffee Cups Framelits Dies. Fussy cut out other images (coffee pots & mug).
Circle Framelits Dies = 1-3/8" circle (Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake), 1-1/2" scallop circle (Soft Suede, Crumb Cake), 1-5/8" circle (Early Espresso)
Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies = cut heart from center of 2-1/2" square piece of Whisper White Thick
Labeler Alphabet stamp set = stamp "puns" with various inks on Whisper White Thick. Cut into words/phrases. (Early Espresso, Soft Sky, Garden Green, Soft Suede)
Envelope Punch Board (for 3" square cards) = Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz)

Coffee Cafe Gift box

7-1/2" x 11" Soft Sky cardstock
Use Simply Scored to score at 3-1/2", 5-1/4", 8-3/4", 10-1/2" on 11" side. Then turn and score at 1-3/4", 5-1/4 and 7" on 7-1/2" side
Cut on the score lines at bottom of box up to first scored line.
Cut away sections as shown below.
Use 1" circle punch to cut a half circle as shown.
After decorating (see below)...assemble with Tear & Tape adhesive.

Decorate Gift Box

Adhere 3" square of DSP to 3-1/4" square of Early Espresso cardstock.
Wrap 3/8" Crumb Cake Classic Ribbon around panel and adhere to gift box with Tear & Tape Adhesive
Stamp coffee cup & lid with Garden Green ink on white, sentiment with Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake, heart with Soft Suede on white. Die cut each with matching shapes from Coffee Cups Framelits Dies. Assemble, then adhere to box with Stampin' Dimensionals.
