Monday, 8/21 CASE the Catty (CTC): Remarkable You

Stampin' Up! catalogs are a great source of inspiration...why not use them! For this week, we selected a sample from the Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog on pg 161. I was drawn to the "color block" look of today's sample. Check it out...
For my card I chose a favorite stamp set of mine that I haven't used in awhile...Remarkable You. It's filled with remarkable flowers for remarkable people. These big, bold flowers send a clear message of your thanks and gratitude.

Remarkable You Grateful card
- Adhere 2" x 4" piece of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper on folded 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Berry Burst card base.
- Lay about a 2" strip of Snail adhesive down DSP. Use about 5" of 1/2" Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon and create a "fan fold" ribbon detail on the adhesive (I just did 3 full folds and left the extra ribbon on the right edge that will be covered up.). If needed, add a glue dot between each "fan" to help it stay down.
- Stamp flower image (from Remarkable You stamp set) with Archival Basic Black ink on scrap of Shimmery White cardstock. Use Aqua Painter to color flower using Berry Burst & Old Olive inks. Let dry.
- Cut out flower using Paper Snips, adhere to 2-1/8" Stitched Shape Framelit Square (Whisper White) with Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere to card covering over the right edge of the ribbon detail.
- On 3" x 5/8" strip of Whisper White, stamp greeting with black ink. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Attach two Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
